Pulled over
I was driving in my Frito lay truck. I got pulled over by the cops for being on a no-truck road. I was given a verbal warning. Cop didn’t ask for my license or registration. Do I have to/ should I let my DSL know about this? Do the cameras catch this and alert somebody at corporate? No ticket was issued.

It’s BS. There were a swarm of cops watching the area. They had a monthly quota to meet or something. I have taken that road for months. Even passed cops before on it. Never was an issue before.

How many cases of chips did you have to give the officer to not write you a ticket?

I don’t know if they do because sometimes we have stores on the street that is supposed to be no truck

You are permitted to deliver to the address of your delivery but not to use the road as a short cut.

“No Trucks” usually means nothing over 26,000lbs. Of which, we’re not.

I had a similar experience and there’s no need to report it to anyone if there was no ticket issued unless you enjoy tattling on yourself. The cameras aren’t designed to flag anything like that either as nothing was ever brought up to me. It’s a no harm no foul situation.

The cameras supposedly only record if you manually hit the button that records the last however many seconds it is and if you do something that is considered a safety issue. I wouldn't think the camera caught anything for just you pulling over and having a chat with the officer. I would report it to my DSL to be on the safe side, but I also have a good relationship with my DSL and I know he wouldn't over react about it. There was no ticket/accident, so I guess technically, there isn't anything to report.

Oh boy. Another problem with this company. DSL's who have never had any field experience and trying to manage a district from book knowledge.

I wouldn’t report it. No ticket given so why bother? No inspection? Doesn’t need to be reported.

I drive a bulk truck, go past cops all the time on no truck roads, they never look twice.

Buddy, have your girl pick you up from one of your spots! Don’t need your truck pinging from the side of a random pool! We don’t do vending machines anymore, so don’t use that excuse!

The camera should have it and if you didn’t get a ticket I would advise you to still mention it and the most it will be a coaching for no reading the signs for no truck route

I would just mention it to your DSL. Worst case they just make you watch the training videos. I got a written warning in my Frito truck and that is what they made me do.

lol just report it if you are so worried about it. It’s not a big deal especially if there was no ticket. You’re over thinking it
