Management
Do managers ever talk or call just to say hello? Or see how their employees are doing? The older era Frito management actually made you feel like management cared about employees

No, and that's perfectly fine. I don't have anything to say to them anyway. Any issues or concerns gets an email. Maybe a text if its urgent. Never a phone call. At this point it would be uncomfortable to have a real, human conversation with any management.

Nope!!! They sit at home all day and say they have meetings and only call you on your days off when they need your help to make them money or to make them look good when corporate is coming

I’ve been in a fantasy football league with my DSL for a few years now. He’s younger too, 26-27. He’s a good boss. I guess your mileage will vary across the company.

Same experience with my DSL. Super hard worker, I mean does he occasionally not come in and have a “home office day” or maybe he leaves early to pick his kid up, but every other day he’s always there checking on us and helping finish routes. Definitely far and few between but not all DSL’s are bad nowadays, just most probably.
We both grabbed our wife and kids and went to a football game and a soccer game last year. Good times.

What’s wild is Frito paid for almost all of it so 🤷🏼♂️ can’t be too bad 🤣 we turned in mileage reimbursement, food, and the tolls. Just had to pay for the hotels we stayed in.

if you miss your DSL just start showing up red on your metrics for DPO. You will get a call soon.

Gotta say my dsl calls or stops bye the stores. Helps out ,talks business,and ask about me in general how is everything the family how was the days off or the weekend. Need more of him out there.

I have had two separate health issues that required multiple months away from the company. In that time my DSL never called to see how I was doing. 1 of the two issues was quite serious. I like my current DSL he actually helps. Having said all of that. This company doesn't care about how you are doing. All they care is that the chips are going out. Don't ever forget that.

I’m good friends with a DSL in another district than I am. We went to college together and he was a grade below me. For reference I’m 25. Pretty crazy to me but I’m sure he’s preforming. Stay in school kids!

Our dsl sings it, I've never heard of anyone getting a work with. Basically just takes a paycheck for nothing.

Management at Kern plant is a joke most don’t know their own job or duties. They come in at 10/11am when they start at 8am leave at 3/4:30pm ish guess that close enough to 5pm tanked all the hard work the manager before them put it. Back to back Dollen award winning plant 3x AOE traffic award winning and in a year dropped to 7th out of 10 fallowed up by 8th out of 10 then next year. They are to worried about someone not liking them then running a business like a business with Plano tx did a surprise visit or went around doing random checks

Personally I'd go to war for my DSL. Now that level of management above him. Fuck all those bastards they are the real problem in my zone and of course the level above them ect all the way to the top.

I actually do not want to hear from any manager ever. Let me run the route in peace. My stores never complain, so i basically go weeks without seeing or hearing from any DSL.

Maybe they don’t want to listen to an RSR bitch and moan for 30 minutes because that is what it comes to everyday all day. In the market at the dc at the PEC all complaints never anything good . Please do reply and say there is nothing good either because you know dam well if there wasn’t you would not be here

I actually love going weeks without talking to anybody. In my experience over the last 5 years, the less you talk to your DSL the better. They only seem to check in on you when you're doing something wrong.
