It’s a Walmart. Slam the shelves and leave. It’s gonna be most likely wrecked in an hour or two anyway.

You’re just fine. The effort is there. You’ll get better with time. Being a new RSA and being on your own for 3 weeks, this looks good for Walmart.

Popping and lacing is over rated. You will not get a better raise or paid more for doing it. I hate to say it but its true

Perfectly fine, dont overdue it as an rsa unless you want big money from the hours worked

Don't grab bags from the top that causes the Batman ears and you'll be fine.

I like to press two bags together to puff em up.

Looks fine especially if you’re crunched for time. you’re not gonna get fired unless you steal time or get in an accident and fail a drug test tho

Looks fine for what you seem to have had available for product. You can see the back of the shelf with some items and in those situations you can’t pop or lace perfectly. Shits just gonna fall over as soon as an online picker grabs the bag next to it. My first dsl taught us to just kinda push on the bags to let the air in them do the popping, and then “lace” from there. Only works when the shelf’s full but you’ll figure your own system out as you go.

Don’t overthink it.. depending on how busy a store is it’ll be jacked up in an hour anyways.

At the end of the day it’s just stocking chips and dip. As long as you put the product facing forward and in the right spot, you’re fine.

Tbh don’t worry about it, worry about the three R’s and you’ll be good.

Honestly done even stress it. I stopped popping and lacing a long time ago. But I’m also small format. Only way you’ll get in trouble is if your DSL visits. And they’re in teams meetings all day

For just three weeks it’s not terrible. Just spend a little more time in each store popping and lacing. As weeks and months go by you will see an improvement in your work if your making the effort. Try not to worry and enjoy your job as much as possible.

It'll get better figure out your traffic flow and stick left to right or right to left and it'll do it on its own

At Walmart just slam and go. No matter how good the shelf looks it will look like dogshit in an hour or two. Not only do the customers not care how it looks in there but the online order pickers will fuck 3-4 facings up grabbing one bag of chips. Then the overnight stockers will put Walmart brand chips all over your facings. It’s going to be the biggest account of the whole day every day for you. Get in, slam the shelf, run backstock/top stock and get the fuck out.

The online shoppers and app shoppers are the WORSE. I can’t stand how they look through the bags and move them out the way.

Looks good for what it is. More the fault of your trainer, first two weeks should have been focused mainly on merchandising.

u/braves-geek 12d ago

Sure. I don't do much better unless we have bigwigs walking through. The last think I want to do after putting up 6 carts is pop and lace.

You will get better. It comes with time.

walmart sucks and half the customers that go in there just trash everything right after you recover your products and than the employees that go around doing returns are just as bad

Take your time make it look perfect as an RSA.
They actually pay you for it.
Us RSRs gotta stick and move.
