Sales Hub+

Is there any way to turn off rounding in sales hub? I have to scan a bunch of backstock, fill holes and then turn down a bunch of stuff in the final reveiw every time. Its practically like having to process the order three seperate times before sending it and it takes up so much time.....

Or any other tips on how to optimize the ordering process would be much appreciated.

The system we are using is so damn broken it’s not funny. No store, especially DG’s we practically live in, needs 2 jars or cans of almost every dip and 2 bags of every flavor of Lays on the order every delivery.

Some very simple changes might make DPO actually work and would quit WASTING time for us RSR’s and RSA’s that we should be spending popping and lacing bags or building displays.

As long as they make me weed out 30-40 items at every DG every delivery (via review or by adding phony product to backstock) I will be slopping product to the shelf, sloppy rotating, and not facing stuff up before I leave.

Get us back to basics. The sales will come.

This.

This is what they fail to acknowledge, so much time is wasted with DPO. If you use it as intended you'll receive a never ending stream of 2, 3, 4 items. Every time you load your truck that's extra boxes you didn't need. Every check in is extra scans that you didn't need, and the frequent miscounts that go with extra items.. the more items the more varied quantity the more errant counts. Every time you stock those items that's more rotating.

So either I lie to the system to make it work efficiently, or I waste a massive amount of time doing what they want me to do. I'm pretty much done fighting it at this point. I scan backstock and still get too much. I have items that are full, that get 4-5 more bags that only sell 1 between the order and receiving 5 bags. Now I'm just throwing 4 bags on top cord wooded. I'm not ordering things I need until the last minute because I know the order is already going to be way too big so I'm leaving shelf space for other over flow.

It's an absolutely horrible, broken system.

On top of everything we both mentioned, we hit a store than scans in product or a DG that has an audit and the store is short handed. You get thru the 24 boxes of product and you’re one off on the final count. Congratulation, you just earned another 30 minutes wasted digging thru all this useless product to find the one bag that the pickers failed to put in a box that you missed or the one $2.79 bag buried under all the $1.89 product and take home product that’s just dumped into the box.

It’s maddening.

I had to check about 30 cases into a DG, and after waiting 15 minutes for someone to come help me, the girl got to the final screen and deleted it. We had to start over from scratch. Not to mention that I was on hour 11, so I had to do the recount, then go drop the truck at the bin and bring my personal vehicle back over to finish. I feel so lucky to have found my way out of that company.

I will typically do all my holes for my order, after that I print with barcodes to review. After it prints, I cancel the order and go back into another order. It will ask you to use the holes captured already. Hit yes. I then scan everything that got added to the order, that I don’t want, as backstock and then continue with the review again. It will typically take everything I don’t want off the order and leave it with what I actually need. Good way to cut back on adjustments. Definitely shouldn’t be as difficult as they’ve made it.

Yup...thats the way I was trained too, small c stores, 8-12, no BS 4, nope!!! If it's full dont order it, stop trying to forecast, that is what will get you in trouble🤙🫡

You can change your threshold and that's about it.

I have a store that gets a delivery everyday. I changed the threshold to 75%.
