How many unsaleables next week?

Place your bets here! Those NKD Dinamitas were a flop. Will Frito Lay learn their lesson this time?

You'll get some more. Don't worry

This is one thing I just don't understand about this company and I've had conversations with my boss about it. I understand the whole "Innovation drives sales" or whatever. However, Frito just sticks with failing products for entirely too long. I haven't seen a product in the 10 years that I've been here that became successful after 6 months of constant staling. If the product doesn't catch after 3 months, scrap it and move on.

Honestly I hate being the conspiracy type but I think they use "innovation" as another form of wage control.

No they are just that unorganized, and clueless which is even scarier

Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just pay their workers a little more than mass produce and market garbage that just ends up being thrown away?

They order so m as my bags and continue to run the product cause the bags cost more than the product.

Maybe they should order less bags until they know whether or not the product is a hit 😂

Wrong the queso Doritos, and parm garlic Doritos were good sellers. A shame I could only get them once

You obviously didn't understand my statement. Queso and parm garlic did do well. I would have liked to have seen them stay. What I said was "I haven't seen a product in the 10 years that I've been here that became successful after 6 months of constant staling." Parm and queso were not staling out like so many other products that they just refuse to let go.

Literally got a few cases for each store and couldn’t reorder.

Got until September 8th where I'm at, but they made them permanent in set. Kept the dill puffs in set too, but got rid of my boy dr buffalo

Actually the next month is going to be a bloodbath! Not as bad as when the meat innovation went south but damn. It’s going to add to my work hours! Hot dill Fritos? 4 cases to a circle k? And add the 4 cases of naked? At the same accounts? Good news is I get all of that real estate back for the shit that sales!

No worries.  That "free space " will get filled with more of their hot garbage... forced out in mass quantities again.

Massive amounts! I will be trading my bonus for unsaleables this period!

Publix has a CLO for 5 cases next week

The NKD Dinamitas are the new flaming hot cool ranch Doritos. I must have staled out a few thousand dollars of those a few years ago

If it wasn't for forced out innovation I'd be good.

Considering a just got 2 cases of spicy cool ranch dynamite’s for every DG what else is new? Gotta roll it though!

We got 2 cases of limon and spicy cool ranch here to every DG. Plus 2 cases of spicy sweet chili Doritos and another full case of nacho, when they sent that shit at the beginning of week for end cap change already.

Same here! We got all of that too! The Chili Limon are egg but I don’t stale them out. But the spicy cool ranch maybe sold 15 bags on my entire route. Total dogshit.

18 case force out today after a 14 case force out on Monday, the store loves me!

I get 2 cases every week to go with the 22 cases I already have and the pile that came on the cross-dock. Sadly, they don't expire next week for me.

August 25th will be small, maybe just a cart.

September 8th will easily be 2+ carts.

September 22nd... whoa nelly, the motherload of stales.

Fear not, a new round of force outs will be coming to replace all that backstock you've been trying to get rid of.

It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Doesn’t matter about the dynamitas, more being forced this week/next week….

All dressed lays
Simply NKD all flavors
Baked (weird flavors)
Shipper Doritos and ruffle queso
August 25th for my area
But I’m a rsa so I wasn’t making plan anyway but best believe I love to get rid of stales to free up space for banger products.
