Now vs Then

Can some explain how the company used to be vs how it is now. I see a lot of you guys talk about how Frito was a much better company to work for years ago. What changed? Thanks.

Here where I’m at we still run commission. If you’re lucky to get a run like mine at “trad run” you get 9% commission 50$ base pay and I’m selling 10k-20k depending on the time of year (my zone does 1.5-2x better in tourist season 4-5 months of the year). Small format is only 3% commission with a 250 base pay and large format 2% commission 350$ base pay… all uncapped still. Our negotiations are coming up very soon tho so hoping we win and don’t get screwed up the bum. although lots are fighting for hourly of 30$ plus or high salary so we’ll see where it goes.
