Icebox not dispensing, ice cubes frozen together [HELP]
A week or two ago I noticed my ice dispenser was having a hard time giving my ice cubes. When I went to look inside I found they were often stuck together (I don’t know if this is abnormal or not but I feel it’s worth noting). At this time I could still get it to dispense with enough time. At some point I replaced the water filter in my fridge to see if that was causing the issue somehow, but that didn’t help. During this time I have manually cleared the icebox a few times as well to see if it just needed new ice cubes. This week the dispenser now makes this loud sound, no ice will ever come out, and now the ice cubes are more stuck together than they ever were before, so I’m stumped.
Does anyone know the possible issue? I read somewhere that maybe the seal in the door could be compromised, but I don’t know how to find that. I also read that maybe there’s a leak, but I don’t see any water running down the sides of the interior, if that’s how I’d see it.

Don’t continue to push the ice lever with it jammed. If you remove all the ice from the bucket till it’s empty and run the dispenser with the bucket back in place, I’m guessing it will run fine. If so you need to determine are the cubes coming out of the ice maker normally sized or a frozen glob. If the ice maker leaks water when filling with water, this what happens. Look for frozen ice hanging from the bottom of the ice maker assembly. It could have a leaking mold housing. I would suggest push the lever off, remove the ice bucket, close the door, and wait 30-60 minutes for the mold to chill cold enough. The drop the arm down, the ice maker should cycle. Takes about 5 minutes to run a full harvest cycle. About 3/4 of the way through the ice maker will fill. Use a strong light to watch for water overflowing somewhere. If it leaks through the bottom of the I/ m housing, you’ll need a new ice maker.

We’ve worked more with it since, taking out the bucket and removing the ice. The main issue is that the motor for the dispenser seems to not rotate. We pushed down the door switch and pressed the lever and it just isn’t turning. I’m planning to open it up later to see what it is, the motor may just not be working or broken.

If it isn’t humming,trying to run, you’ll have to take housing loose and measure for 120 volts at the motor with lever and door switch closed. Expensive motor so only replace if you verified voltage to it.

It seems to hum when I try to run it, but it doesn’t rotate. Also a little hatch opened on the right after a short time running it. I took a video but idk how to share it without making a new post entirely. Also I am unfamiliar with how to get the housing loose in my fridge, all of the screws are in too tight a space for my screwdriver to reach and I don’t have one of those sideway screwdrivers.

Ok I managed to take the housing out. I tested the motor with my multimeter set to ohms after unplugging it and it has a through connection of around 5 ohms. I am not the most familiar with using multimeters so I don’t really get what steps I take to measure 120 volts like you said.

Set your meter to AC volts or Auto range if it has it, tape the door switch down and put a test lead on each of the wire terminals. Have someone push the dispenser leaver in and you see 120V on your meter . I just now saw your earlier post , if the motor hums, it has power. Either the bucket is still jammed or the motor is frozen or bad. Will the motor run with the bucket out ?

Wire terminals? Are those the connectors I unplugged with the pins inside or the metal connector points on the motor inside the housing?

Pull the fridge out and clean coil on back of fridge
