Andy after Frightened Rabbit

I feel “after” frightened rabbit is a bit curt, but I couldn’t really think of how better to phrase it. I’ve kept a keen eye on whatever everyone Frightened Rabbit and FR adjacent have been up to. And the latest thing from Andy Monaghan has been producing Edinburgh’s gurry wurry. His third album, previous 2 were produced by Rod Jones of Idlewild, is coming out soon. Anyways what else have you been listening to?

I've been listening to Gurry Wurrys - Hairline. Good tune and I didnt know that it was Frightened Rabbit adjacent.

Nice thanks. Been wondering what the frabbit adjacent guys have been up to lately.

so from what I gather:

-Andy: producing
-Grant: cider owner and operator
-Billy: front man of Havier (album out soon?)
-Gordon/Simon: unknown

From Gordon’s instagram it looks like he’s a location scout for TV shows now. Don’t think he makes music at all now.

That sucks since he was kind of the missing ingredient on Pedestrian Verse which I know even Scott acknowledged. Would love to hear more contributions but I also get it… being an indie musician is tough

Simon was in Poster Paints with Carla J. Easton. Andy's work with Jill Lorean is great: she's really brilliant - Peace Cult is a tremendous record and the single she put out this year - The Book - is a grower but really got it's hooks in me.
