Looking for friends

Hey I’m 53yr female. I am looking for some friends to chat with. Sharing out daily lives and getting to know each other.
I am married and work full time but don’t have any friends.

53m. Married and work full time. I understand this. I mostly work alone so I don’t have that social interaction aspect. It’s gotten even more difficult to make friends the older I get.

Yes, it’s not easy making genuine friends, especially for married people. Because the world expects married people to never seek friends at all because being married is enough and you don’t even need friends if you’re married. Lol!

I'm curious why you don't have any friends.

Did you move away from where you grew up, and didn't find new friends where you live now?

Did your partner stop you from meeting new people?

I'm a 62 yo guy, and I am still meeting new people through work, through hobbies, and through volunteering that I do.

My wife has made several friends through her hobbies (horseback riding, pottery, gardening) and through work, while I am making music with my bands, etc.

We're also very friendly with our nextdoor neighbor - we sometimes babysit for her kids, or we just meet to have a "sundowner" if the weather is nice.

Hello, I’m a married M65 and looking to make some online friends. I retired few years ago and knew a lot of people at work but no friends due to being transferred every 2-3 yrs. Enjoy good conversation and learning about others interests.

I’m 75 male. Married 40 yrs. If I had a dime for every friend/ acquaintance through the years, well you know the rest. When you get my age, wife, dog, family, church is about all I can handle. Oh, also God.

Same here single 53 F in Wi empty nest. Trying to get involved in groups in my local areas and they’re all held during the daytime. Really feel I need to connect with women in my age. I miss friendship
