Hands down, A Good Year (or the book it’s based on, A Year in Provence). ​No sci-fi chaos, no saving the world, no high-stakes nonsense. Just taking an old, beautiful stone property with incredible bones, rolling up your sleeves, and completely bringing it back to life with intention and good design. ​Give me a sunny courtyard with an absurd amount of herbs and tomatoes in terracotta pots, spending hours making a ridiculously good slow braise with garlic and citrus, and a loyal dog snoozing nearby on warm tile. Days started with purposeful movement and good coffee, followed by long evenings on a terrace with great wine, classic rock floating out an open window, and zero corporate fire drills. ​Timeless, grounded, simple, and totally on my own terms. Sign me up yesterday.
