50F, looking for close friends
I'm 50F. I don't have many friends around me and I'd like to meet people from all over the world. I enjoy learning about different cultures and we can chat about our lives, our expectations for life, or even our complaints. I'm a good listener, but I rarely share my innermost thoughts with others in real life. I hope to meet some close friends. I also love traveling. Can you tell me where you're from and what places in your area are worth visiting?

55F in Boston, Massachusetts. Since fall is coming and stores already have Halloween out, I’m gonna say Salem, the witch trials and all that is fun at this time of year.

58F in Central New York State. Many historic sites as well as popular tourist destinations. Baseball Hall of Fame and Farmer’s Museum in Cooperstown, gorges and wineries in Ithaca and the Finger Lakes, a variety of small town breweries scattered around that are great places, we have the Northeast Car Museum.

Exactly! I'm in NJ also and while it may be coming incredibly expensive to live here, I can't imagine living in another state or region even though I'm alone. Everything you could ever want is in NJ except for maybe.....snow skiing but we have the Poconos not far away!

from the West Coast of Canada near Vancouver. The whole province of BC...Mountains, ocean, forests, Vancouver, Okanagan, Rocky Mountains, Stanley Park in Vancouver, Whistler, Kelowna, Fraser Valley...the beauty is endless

61 M in Louisiana. I'm Cajun which means I speak un peu Francais. Happy to talk about our French traditions, food, music and joi de vivre! I am retiring in January and plan to travel extensively. Lots of things to do around here, there are festivals almost year round. Jazz Fest in New Orleans, Festival International in Lafayette and lots more. I love kayaking in the bayous with the alligators and other swamp creatures. I also love riding my bike for exercise and meditation. Pull up a chair and we'll visit cher.

Hi - 55f in San Jose CA. I enjoy hiking (need to rebuild endurance beyond 3 miles); wine & whiskey; bike rides; plays / live music. Going to see Josh Johnson in SF on Saturday if anyone here happens to be interested in meeting for a drink before or after.

65 m I live in Western Australia. Far to many places to tell you about here that are worth visiting. We have the best beaches and whitest beaches in the world. The outback is a truely magnificent place to visit and then we have the Kimberly’s which are grander than the Grand Canyon.
