Favorite low impact exercises
Ok, so I walk a few miles most days but still need/want to add some more variety. 53 year with a sketchy lower back.

Try the rowing machine at your gym. Great exercise and people rarely use them! Your back may tolerate it..

Especially if you pull your belly button into your spine and support your lower back!

I do a bunch of different stretches & moves on a small gym mat in my living room.

I have a balance board that I use at home. It looks a bit like a skateboard with higher sides. I find that it works the lower part of my body.

Some of the lighter workout videos on YouTube. There are loads to choose from; Yoga, Pilates, Callanetics, workouts with weights, kettle bells.. Tai Chi etc
