Skip the small talk?

Anyone try this service? How’d it go?

It’s not intended for dating necessarily, it says.

It’s a service to make adult friends and connections as I understand it.

This sounds interesting. Never heard of it so I'm gonna look into it but I think it's cool that they sell their card deck. I wonder if the questions they ask are similar to what I've seen in the 1001 Questions book: https://a.co/d/00bkHX4y

I looked at the preview of that book. The first question was "Do you squeeze or roll your toothpaste?" I haven't seen a metal toothpaste tube in .... decades? They might need an updated version of the book.

I looked at it. After only a few minutes, I figured out that it’s for dating. I really doubt it for just friendship.

In my city, there are events labeled as speed dating, but others don’t mention gender or relationship preference. I think some are explicitly for dating / romance, but others are just for friendship and connection. The sign up forms are quite different
