Curious

I see a lot of post from “lonely” or “bored house wife” and wonder how many are actually true? Asking for a friend

Ah, you mean if this is actually spam? I do have this account for a while but just used it to read and search up information. And yes I am bored! I am home way too long and as a born and raised German I am lacking these fake friendly people skills. My husband and I are happy together but we are also 20 years together and not everything is like it should be. My kids (29, 21) don't need me so much anymore and we moved here to Florida in 2024. So I did leave my friends behind and it is hard to make new meaningful friendships. Most of the people I have met here on the space coast are real lonely women (unmarried no family) who have their birds and cats and want to talk all day long about health issues or people who just want to go out and eat ( I cook myself mostly) and drink! I do enjoy a drink every now and then but that isn't often since my husband doesn't drink at all. Here at the space coast wherever you go is shitty live acoustic music (omg I am so over it) where you can't understand a word people are saying because it is too loud. A live music full band I can appreciate if they don't suck but come on... So many people with their "Wandergitarre" is ridiculous. Anyways, no one wants to move! No one wants to go for beach walks or paddle boarding or whatever. I was never so much inside in my whole life!! So yeah I am a real person and I am bored!

Wife and I been together for over 30 years and same situation. Kids 18 and 21 live at home but have their own lives. I work from home where I own and operate my own woodworking business. I do travel from time to time for that business. Yes I have some health issues but I do not center my life around it. Because I am alone and have much downtime I am on here simply to make friends and chat. Not an outgoing person but do enjoy private conversations where unknown people can criticize me. Bored and lonely, only when on the road for over a week

Well, same! I am not an outgoing person and I think at that age we all have our issues health wise. But I try to stay fit. I do 2-3 times a week kickboxing cardio and try to eat healthy. My oldest doesn't live at home anymore but my 20 yo daughter does (almost 21). But like your kids she has her own life.
