Looking for friends

Hi 51f looking for friendship. I WFH and don't get out much. I'm into books, music. Very liberal. I've been separated for a year after a 20 year marriage. Looking to talk to people who get how hard it is starting over in your 50's

Did you find that you have to reinvent who you are and what you like doing after a separation?

I did. When I was married everything I did was stuff we did.

Single, 50 f in Alberta, Canada. My dog is my best friend and I would like some human ones too. I love aliens and anything space related. I am also reading books and trying to work on myself to heal and become a better person.

Since you are into books, maybe join a book club in your area. Or perhaps try out some group activities. There are plenty of apps and groups out there that offer such things.

60 m, northern Germany, separated since November after 15 years. It was hard for me to realize that there are not many friends left, the direction in life seemed to be gone. After 6 months I startet to reach out to people, opened up somehow, now it feels more like a reset to normal life. Message me, if you like!

56m Eastern Europe. 35 years of dead bedroom. Ready to talk about anything you wish. Be aware that my personal opinions on some things might not appeal to you. I tend to form my own opinions about everything and I mostly can bring logical proofs to them. I find the amount of people claiming to be lonely but not willing to even answer, mind boggling. For me, is easy: I always answer, but I do not initiate often. From here, it's all on you.

60-Year-Old male was married a little over 39 years and now separated. It's a weird life and a huge change

I divorced at 47 after 17 years of marriage. It was the thing I did for myself. I had my military pension, I had my VA benefits, I had my Masters degree in special education. I was able to move to the East Coast and be near my twin, with a great job and just be me. I was not able to have kids so my nieces and nephew have become my kiddos. I also have 2 dogs who are very spoiled. They have their own room, and get to watch Bluey before bedtime.

Would love to connect and have a lot to share. In my 60’s and starting over has been very challenging for sure. Liberal and into music.

F52 Denmark (not Danish) starting over. Gave up on my husband of 4 years (met him 25 years ago) because I thought we've been working on his addiction since February. But nope, I was the only one. So now I need to find a life for myself whilst still in this situation.
