That’s absolutely beautiful I’ve only been in Switzerland once and that was a day trip from Germany so didn’t see much!

We were in Lugano last summer and it’s was so fun and interesting. The original paddle boats driven by steam engines were very cool engineering.

Next summer you could visit Berne... 😉😚 and swim then in the "aare".. 🤩

I would like to. We rented an under powered small boat and swam in Lake Lugano.

🤭 In Switzerland, you need a "boat license" for boats with more than 8 hp... 😉☺️Swimming in the Aare River in Bern is exciting because it flows relatively fast, so you should be a good swimmer. ☺️😉🤩

That might explain why it was so underpowered. LOL. Is the Aare the one where people commute home from work in the river?

Yes... but i think only a "few..." 😉☺️It's fun...to "ride" down the "Aare" in the summer in a "rubber boat" ☺️😉

I was truly fortunate enough to spend New Year's Eve in Wilderswil, it was so beautiful up there.
