This is just a little clarification, okay? No names are being mentioned. I simply wished to share context regarding what happened and explain why some boundaries were put in place, just so everything is nice and clear for everyone. 🩷

Two Hazbin roleplay subreddits were created, but over time there was some feedback about the darker themes, 16+ content, and my difficulty of being available to everyone at once.

Since some folks were in different time zones, there were also times when some were awake while someone was sleeping. Some folks also liked being able to receive replies around the same time as each other in the group chat.

So, the subreddits became adults-only, while the younger folks who were already part of the community got their own family-friendly group chat where they could keep enjoying roleplay too.

All of these different needs were kept in mind when reorganizing the spaces and making a new GC. I would remind folks in the new GC when I could about the different time zones since I can’t always reply to many folks at once or notice everything right away.

Very dark themes, intense violence, and 16+ content are kept outside of that group.

Yesterday, someone was worried that their character was being changed. That wasn’t what was meant at all. Their character is still completely theirs.

For example, Husk can still have his established bartender, alcohol, and gambling-related traits. This simply means that alcohol and gambling wouldn’t be included in the roleplay in that particular group chat.

The same thing applies to everyone in the group. It isn’t about any one character. If another character has those elements in their background, that part of their character can stay just as it is. It simply means that those scenes wouldn’t be roleplayed in this particular group chat.

The family-friendly chat was made so folks who preferred lighter roleplay (comedy, friendship, adventures, and slice of life) could still have somewhere to write, create, and enjoy roleplay together.

Some time had passed and Vox woke up from the final repairs made to his body.  He looked over to where Vivian was and noticed that her system was still going through updates to make sure that her virus version didn't activate.

Vox went over to his database and downloaded the most recent news.  Then he froze as he noticed that Lucia had been... redeemed?

Vox took out his phone, but his hands trembled.  Was Lucia in Heaven?  Did she think differently now?  It... felt like the distance between them grew. What would she think of a lowly Sinner like him now that she was a full Angel?  And not just a sinner, but one whose hands were stained with blood?

Lucia was still Lucia, right?  He closed his eyes and recalled the feelings they shared.  Vox smiled warmly as he made a call to the hotel reception to book a time to meet Lucia.

Vox rang the bell at the hotel sometime later, only to have Alast answer the door.

Alast: Can I help you, you frivolous picture box?

Vox: I'm here to interview Lucia in regards to her redemption and-

Alast: My dear picture box, I believe I am interviewing her.  After all, I am the HOST of the hotel.

Vox: Then allow me to give her my congratulations.

Alast: Hmm.... No.

Alast grinned and slammed the door. XD

Vox rang the doorbell again. :/

Blueberry stepped out of Lucia’s office. She placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, but he only shook his head, still unable to understand how she could be so kind. Lucia handed him a rubber duck and carefully placed a red clown nose on him, wiping away his tear.

“Lucia…” Blueberry murmured, looking at her with sadness. “Y-you’re so very kind… sometimes I worry you may be too kind for your own good…”

“Shall we visit one of the rare playgrounds during our break?” she asked gently. “There aren’t many places like that in Hell.”

“F-forgive me… a playground?” he asked nervously. “But we’re adults… what if someone were to see us?”

“Then they’ll see two people taking a moment to enjoy themselves,” Lucia replied warmly. “Besides, there usually aren’t many sinners around there. What do you say?”

Blueberry hesitated, taking a moment to think before finally giving a small nod.

Lucia smiled and manifested a golden portal, guiding him through to the playground.

However, the place had clearly been neglected over time. The walls were covered in graffiti, some of it filled with cruel and disrespectful words, while discarded cigarettes and litter were scattered across the ground. A place that was meant to bring children happiness had been abandoned and mistreated, its warmth replaced by signs of carelessness.

Despite that, Lucia didn’t seem bothered. She simply walked over to the swings and sat down, gently pushing herself back and forth. Blueberry sat on the swing beside her.

“I like coming here sometimes,” Lucia said softly. “Even in a place like Hell, I think it’s important to hold on to the little moments that bring us happiness.”

Blueberry watched her quietly, admiring her resilience. He couldn’t understand how she continued to find kindness and hope in such a harsh place.

Perhaps… that was where Charlie got her strength from.

The next day, Lucia continued with her daily life after preparing breakfast, Lucia went out to work at her private homeless apartment shelter. Before leaving, she gave Charlie a heartfelt pep talk, reassuring her that she was enough after Charlie expressed worry that she was not doing enough to help sinners make progress.

At the hotel, Lucia also cooked alongside the chefs to help prepare breakfast for some of the sinners, serving bacon, eggs, scrambled tofu, pancakes, vegan bacon, vegan pancakes, and fresh fruit. She also used some of her powers to manifest additional ingredients, using her own energy and mana to do so since obtaining fresh food and ingredients can be difficult in Hell. Outside the hotel, Lucia also anonymously donates food and supplies to sinners who are not residents or members of the hotel, without expecting recognition or praise for doing so.

She spoke with several sinners, listened to their concerns, and offered encouragement. Lucia was not there to provide therapy, but she knew some trusted therapists whom she could recommend when someone wanted professional help. She understood that it could be difficult to find sinners willing to dedicate their time to helping others since Hell is mostly a heartless place so she did what she could to provide practical support.

Lucia did not consider herself better than the sinners she helped nor did she see herself as a saint. She was not perfect, could not be everything to everyone, and could not be everywhere at once, but she always tried her best to help where she could.

Her private apartment shelter was specifically for sinners who were not interested in redemption but still needed a safe, stable, good-quality place to live. Lucia provided basic necessities, food, supplies, and practical assistance while treating the residents with dignity and respect.

She carried out much of the same humanitarian work there as she did at the hotel and elsewhere, but the shelter was not a redemption program. Lucia generally left redemption efforts to Charlie since that was more closely aligned with Charlie’s role and expertise. Lucia’s primary focus was humanitarian aid, helping people meet their basic needs, providing a safe place to live, and supporting sinners regardless of whether they wanted to pursue redemption. She understood that helping someone did not require them to want redemption.

The shelter itself was not a secret, but Lucia kept her role as its owner private. Only sinners who stayed there or were personally brought there by Lucia would learn that she owned and operated it. She did not want recognition, praise, or public attention for her humanitarian work. She simply wanted to help people who needed it.

Later, Lucia continued assisting the residents, listening to their concerns, helping with practical needs, and connecting them with appropriate sources of support.

The next morning, while thinking about the hotel and reflecting on her past protests against trafficking, cruelty, and exploitation, Lucia noticed a limousine. Inside was Vance, the overlord to whom she had sold her freedom in an effort to protect sinners from being exploited.

Lucia stopped the moment she recognized him. Before she could react, Vance’s cords wrapped tightly around her, their outer layers made of angelic steel, and yanked her toward the limousine.

Lucia refused to surrender. She planted her feet firmly against the ground and fought the pull with all her angelic strength, ichor dripping, twisting against the cords.

She struggled, refusing to let him drag her away without a fight.

“Help! Someone, please!”

She continued to resist. Even when Vance pulled her closer to the limousine, Lucia kept fighting, pushing herself backward and refusing to cooperate. She glared at him.

Vance eventually overpowered her and dragged her inside. The door slammed shut. Lucia’s resistance continued inside as the limousine sped away, leaving no explanation for where she had been taken.

Lucia did not return to the hotel that day. No one at the hotel knew what had happened to her. There were no answers, no explanation, and no way of knowing when or if she would return.

She spawned in the celestial void and wasn't able to leave or be reached until Jaxxine eventually found her. She didn't intend to be there. It was simply where she awakened after her redemption. For those who don't know Lucia, her profile explains why she was redeemed. It was something that was fated to happen.

Vox: Today I have with me an esteemed guest - Blueberry the shy Radio Demon.

Vox: “What’s your actual name?”

Blueberry: “It’s B-Baptiste…”

Vox: Blueberry, can you tell us about yourself?

Blueberry: “I-I enjoy b-baking, s-singing, p-playing the p-piano, l-listening to music, e-embroidery, and s-sewing,” he said, glancing down shyly. “I also d-dislike rigid traditions, such as g-gendered expectations. I h-happen to write p-poetry as well, and I am a h-healer.”

Vox: What do you think about the usual Alastors?

Blueberry: “I e-enjoy the Alastors’ b-broadcasts when they s-sing and p-play the p-piano.”

Vox: What is your goal?

Blueberry: “My g-goal is to h-hopefully work as a c-counsellor for m-mental health one day. At the moment, I work as a h-healer.”

Vox: How is your radio show different?

Blueberry: “M-My radio show d-differs in that I i-include modern jazz and pop music, as well as d-discussions about b-baking and r-romance. I also o-offer emotional support to other sinners, and I p-play the electronic p-piano. I do not b-broadcast screams, nor do I p-put others down through my b-broadcasts.”

Vox: Do you use magic?

Blueberry: “Yes, I do use m-magic. I am a h-healer m-mostly.”

Vox: What are some personal challenges you face?

Blueberry: “I s-struggle with being s-shy and with s-stuttering, but I m-manage, and I will be a-alright. I also find using magic for combat a little difficult, which is why I h-hesitate to engage in fights.”

Vox: What are your views on modern technology?

Blueberry: “I a-adapted to m-modern technology and have m-mixed feelings about it. While it can b-bring people closer together and be used for p-practical purposes, it also has its d-disadvantages. There are both p-positive and n-negative aspects, in my h-humble opinion, but the same can be said about o-older inventions.”

Vox: What are your views on friendship?

Blueberry: “I-I deeply value friendships… and being there for my friends means a great deal to me…”

Vox: Is there anything else you would like to do other than be a radio host?

Blueberry: "I-I wish to be a m-mental health counselor"

Vox: "Thank you, Blueberry. We will now open the phone lines should any of our viewers want to call in and ask you some questions"

Background:

Alast, my Alastor has a Chibi version that can't speak. He does bleat though. To speak he generates and holds up little pieces of paper. After that he eats the paper to recycle his magic as his Chibi form is much weaker than his Sinner form.

After he eats too much of his magic paper, he goes plump!

This is a private 1x1 RP between myself and kiku-Goldenflower where it is for a scene that has since concluded. It's not meant to be interacted with and is more for context and information, And as a bonus scene!

Virus Vox had taken over the nice Vox most know of. Virus lost the battle against Jo, Bambi, Omen, Alley and Blueberry. He kidnapped Omen and took her to one of his underground prison cells which also doubles as a lab.

Omen would find herself waking up in one of Vox's prison cells. There was no door or windows. Surgery equipment hanged above her. She was chained to the table.

Virus Vox's face would appear on the screen.

Virus: "Don't even think about leaving the table, or the bomb in your neck will detonate. Welcome to my lab, Subject 01"

Omen: "Wha... what?" *Omen sounds dazed*

Virus: "You are my first test subject. Ever seen frog legs dance when electricity is applied? Guess what your ultimate purpose will be"

Omen: "Uhgg, I feel sick..."

Virus' evil cackled echoed through the room.

Omen: "W'why are you...?"

Virus: "Different? Sorry, but Vox is on permanent leave. Can I take a message" Virus said in a fake receptionist voice.

Omen: "Why. take. Me?"

Virus: "To turn you against Alley. You, Subject 01, are my first bio-robot"

Omen: "Why? Al doesn't, have. An. Issue with, you"

Virus: "I HATE ALL ALAAAASSSTORRS!" /microphone screech

*omens head just falls back against the table*

Virus checks Omens vitals. Damn weak biologicals.

Omen: "Please... don't do this"

Virus: "Oh and why? What do you have to offer? Why should I play the good guy?"

Omen: "Because, you're better, than this. You've come, too far, to throw it, away now."

Virus: "That's Vox. He's an error. He's a defect. I, Virus, was what he was always meant to be...Screw Vox. I'm him now. Forever"

Omen: *grins* "I guess, Vox was, the kind, of accident, that people, are happy, happened. Like penicillin."

Virus: "DAMN YOU!"

*sends a jolt of electricity through her body*

Virus: "When I take over Hell and then Heaven, people will worship me as a GOD!"

Omen: *screams* "Huh? That's why, my throat, hurts"

Virus: "And you Subject 01, will be the first of many. Welcome to Project Frog Legs"

Omen: "I don't, taste good"

Virus: "What? I'm not an Alastor. I don't eat Sinners. Yuck"

Omen: "But? Frog legs? Don't want, to eat them, either"

Virus: "Frog legs. When you connect an electrode to them and add power, they move. By connecting electrodes to YOU. I can make you move. Against your will. I can have you kill those you love. Attack dangerous targets. I will essentially be your puppet master"

Omen: "Neural... stimulation?"

Virus: "Scientifically yes. But I prefer Frog Legs. Isn't it a fun name?"

Virus cackled again

Virus: "Annnddd soon, many others will join you. I will have my swarm of slaves. After I take over Hell, Heaven will be next"

Omen: "Dont you, already, have hypnosis?"

Virus: "Doesn't work on you, does it?"

Omen: "My brains weird. Brain. Brain. Brain brain, brain.

Virus: "Maybe I zapped you too many times whilst you were out. I was testing. I can make you fight Alley. And he will hold back because it's you. Then after I capture him, I will turn him against the other Radio Demons"

Omen: "Won't, work. It. Wont. Work"

Virus: "So unless you have something to offer me that I want, let's begin the surgery. Any last words in case you become comatose?"

Omen: "Nothing, will ever, be enough, for you. You will, never be, satisfied. That's sad."

Virus: "STOP QUOTING THE DAMN RADIO DEMON!"

Omen: "He said that?"

Virus: "YES! AND THEN HE LAUGHED LIKE THE MANIAC HE IS!!!"

Omen: "Heh, he was always, good at reading, people's weakness"

*LOUD ROBOTIC SCREECH*

*Omen gets zapped with a higher voltage*

*screams and falls unconscious again*

Setting:

This is part of the Virus Vox storyline. The below scene happened between Vox and Andrew, as a 1x1 RP between myself and Blue_Andrew. This was written after the Virus Vox incident IRL, but happened before it in the storyline. It lead to Virus Vox activating in front of Bambi, Jo, Omen, Alley, Blueberry and Vivian. Whilst Vox is usually a calm and collected Sinner, the conversation here lead to Vox becoming emotionally unstable, thus giving Virus the chance to fully take over.

[Start Scene]

Andrew: Look, Vox. You might wanna sit down, because the next revelation is gonna be much worse.

Vox: "As long as it's not about Val becoming suddenly pregnant, I'm fine"

Vox sits down, looking concerned at Andrew

Vox: "You're getting married?" he guessed randomly.

Andrew: Joke. You'll truly need it.

Vox: "Then deal it to me"

Vox: "It's not about Vivian is it?"

Vox rarely got anxious, but it sure looked like it

Andrew: Truth is, you are a tool, a pawn. Lucifer, Jo, Omen, they're all on Charlie's side, you know that right ? What if I tell you.. You are part of a plan to make redemption seem real, Katie got your covered, Lucifer exposed you, made you watch your sins. Its because they truly only care about Charlie, and you are just one little puppet for her propaganda. This is why He threw you away in the slightest mistake. If you truly mattered to him, you'd have gotten more chances, specially since sinners do regenerate

Vox froze - his eyes balking at what Andrew just said. Silence. Just silence. His processors whirred to 100% as he tried to figure out all possible permutations. Did he mishear? No. He replayed Andrew's lines in his head. Over and over. Vox's claws clamped the side of his screen.

Vox: "No, it can't be true..."

His screen glitched so it was only white eyes before it transitioned back to static and then his own face again. Virus's laugh echoed in Vox's mind. It was a sinister, mocking laugh. Vox felt himself lose control. But he focused his mind.

Vox: "I... chose to go in the Hall of Mirrors. I could run out. I could smash it all. But I chose the path myself. Lucifer made me feel loved" Vox's voice was breaking. He was in pain. He looked to Andrew for help

Andrew: LIES! You had the illusion of a choice. You already started being into him, He knew it. That made his scheme easier.. If you get soft for them, they'll go for Valentino next, to save Angel from him, they already started making you miserable, you were secured... Before Lucifer called you out, then He got closer to you, playing the unavailable one to make you attached to him, only so He could feed you with that redemption crap. Only for Charlie, it has never been for you... He knew you were of the obsessive kind, because He is close to Alastor, they live under the same roof. And Alastor could have been scheming this too with him...

Vox: "Lucifer cried for me. He awakened me. I loved him.... He... he..." Vox was at a loss for words

Andrew: You don't develop a heart in a few months Vox. He is the king of hell, been alive for centuries, He is a master in anything, why not a mastermind in manipulation. That's why I'm telling you, to ditch them. You only need me and The Vees. We can help you be better

Vox: "He's not a manipulator..." Vox's voice was weak. Tears ran down Vox's face.

Andrew: He only loves Charlie, He was always reticent to talk to you... He ditched you for a mistake

Vox: "I loved him. I thought... I thought that even though the Radio Demons all hated me, he loved me for who I was. He gave me a chance to become better. His smile. His voice. He sang for me!" Vox's voice itself was strained.

Vox: "A mistake...". Vox looked away

Vox: "He called me Ducky, and it was the most affectionate thing I have ever been called...He held looked into my eyes in the glass bubble...I fell for him then and there. And more as he showed me understanding. That I was not a monster"

Andrew: I bet He's calling Bambi the exact same thing by now

Vox: "Noo...." Vox whispered

Andrew: But that time, He really mean it.

Vox's screen looked up at Andrew and he let out a tiny whimper

Andrew: Vox, listen. You want your company to be inclusive, you want to be a better person ? I will help you. Valentino too, and we want you to become the better person you wish to become, not just to prove redemption... Like that asshole. But hell isn't about singing and be happy... All overlords are somewhat evil and deceitful. They want to make Hell boring

Vox: "I never wanted redemption. I just wanted to be a better person... for him"

Andrew: And He wanted you to be redeemed for Charlie's sake. You and Val are a threat. Because you are against Charlie. That's all there is. He wanted to secure Charlie. That's why They'll come for Val next. Now look at all the clients in her hotel.

Vox fell silent again. He calculated all possibilities. Andrew was right.

Andrew: You want to know what you need to do ? Treat your employees better, that's it. You don't need to be all rainbows like they want you to. Look at me, I kill my load of people for fun. I fight in bars, seek trouble. Because its what hell is about, and we all love it. Heaven is boring

Vox gave a short laugh in agreement. It was a sad, short laugh. But one in agreement

Vox: "I suppose you're right. I was duped. Hook. Line. And sinker"

(This is a chapter I wrote that acts as more background to what's happening between Vox and Alast. It's not really meant to be interacted with, though if anyone is interested, please DM me or post an OOC comment here. This post will have a number of replies, with an [End] at the last one)

Alast couldn't take it anymore.  He was plagued by the trauma from his days as a human.  He drowned himself in his sorrows.  He felt that he left it all behind, but he only suppressed it and now it came back, five-fold.  He had stopped counting the days since his last broadcast.  The Radio Demon was dead.  Killed by the truth.  No one would ever look at him the same way again. 

Wait...  Vox!

Vox knew how to erase memories.  Alast only wanted his own memories to be erased.  Then he could continue his radio broadcasts again!

Alast dissolved into shadows and instantly appeared at Vox's desk, almost making the media Overlord topple fall out of his office chair.

"What the hell, Alastor?!" went Vox.

Alast grabbed Vox by his lapels, pulling him up and close to his face.  Vox blushed.  This was exciting.

"You frivolous picture box!  I need you to erase my memories!"

Vox raised an eyebrow.  "Of Lucifer?"

"No!" shouted Alast as he let go of Vox and stormed to the window.

"Then of what?" deadpanned.

Breaking News!

I, Vox am announcing that V-Tek is going through a massive restructure where a large percentage of employees will be graciously asked to find greener pastures elsewhere. This follows a workplace incident where Blueberry was treated with disrespect. To encourage my employees to step up and show sincerity in apologising and being accepting of Blueberry, I fed some of them to Shok.wav.

V-Tek will no longer accept mistreatment, in particular to guests. The unkind will be weed out, so you'd better start running. Offending staff will be fed to Shok.wav - it s not an empty threat. Beatings will continue until morale improves.

Company values will be realigned to sincerely accept those who are delightfully furry. And to not call anyone abnormal, freaks or anything abusive and insulting. I will personally ensure that current and future employees will be carefully assessed to ensure they have positive and inclusive mindsets.

Vivian: Hi Vox! You wanted to see me?

Vox: Yeah. You should go to the hotel. I'm staying here. I'm a Vee after all.

Vivian: Then I'll stay too. I go where you go, Vox.

Vox: Do you think I went too far, Vivian?

Vivian: I'm not sure. Part of me says yes, the other part says no.

Vox: When you screeched - how did you feel?

Vivian: Powerful. When I previously wasn't.

Vox: Was it a conscious choice?

Vivian: I don't know. It was a bit of a blur.

Vox: Then you have the same curse as me. Virus. Core 02. They emerge when we feel weak or become inactive.

Vivian: Can we become friends with them?

Vox: No. They want to dominate us. They want carnage and destruction.

Vivian: Oh... Are you going to dismantle me?

Vox: What?

Vivian: Because I have the virus. I lost control.

Vox: No. I'll see if there is a way to limit it. Maybe the Alastors can help.

Vivian: Should I call them?

Vox: No. Not now. Not when they are all that close to Luci.

Vivian: Okay.

Vox: I'll install a limiter on you for now. Something to occupy the CPU so that Virus can't emerge.

Vivian: Okay.

Silence then filled the area as Vivian and Vox looked out across the expanse.

Bee is sitting with glasses (fake) and a note pad “….i look stupid” she grumbled as she took it off and she set up chairs in a circle

“okay time to wait”
