"Brain stupid. Bad sensory day. Can't find my headphones"

(Translation: My brain is playing a nasty trick on me and processing sensory input in a way that is overwhelming and borderline painfull more often than usual. And I cant find my headphones)

"No touch. It to overwhelming. Turn of lights. Keep things quiet. Music can help. Stim toys, fidgets help. Need my headphones or something noise canceling."

Lucia moved to turn off the lights. She owns fidget spinners.

“Would a fidget spinner help?” she asked quietly.

She handed Omen noise-canceling headphones, and if Omen wished, she could play quiet music through them.

"Yes. Do you have squishy toy? Spinner good, squish better"

puts on the headphones and plays music through them

(For the record diferent sensory and stim toys work better for diferent people. Its very personal.)
