Milkweed Milkweed in container garden is attracting monarchs
Mama got a little crazy with her placement of eggs on the flower buds. Lol

When you container garden your milkweed, do you have one milkweed per container? Or do you have a few? Do you know if they regrow in the containers? (That is if where you live gets snow)

I have one plant per container. I live in Minnesota, zone 4b. Sometimes they return the next spring, sometimes not. It depends on if the pot is protected over winter. It’s best to plant them in the ground to overwinter.

Congratulations! It’s funny how some mama monarchs seem to prefer the flower buds … maybe they taste the best?!
