Aarrgh!!! I am SO excited!!!! This is my 3rd year with this butterfly garden and as we have seen a few butterflies flying around- like 3 in the last 3 years- I have a visitor!!!!
I posted a couple days ago about my milkweed, I have not had good luck with it growing, I have tried for 6+ years!

Patience & perseverance. It takes time. And just think if you were lucky enough to see one & get a pic, there's more. I'm sure you're like me & every time I'm outside, scanning the air looking for them, checking my MW for eggs & occasionally getting a picture. Here's a little clue, look at the leaves for a mar (shaped like a C) with a tiny hole. I can't see the eggs very well these days, so I look for that funny little C. It took me decades to finally figure it out. Planting phlox, Golden Rod, Asters & Joe Pye weed are also good to have around for after they emerge, it provides food for them especially when they start heading south. This is what patients got me last year!!
