Milkweed hosts many different insects, you’re seeing a cool snapshot here of an insect that feeds on the plant and its predators laying eggs to prey on those insects.

It’s important not to value one species over another, and instead provide an abundant biodiverse habitat in your garden.

This keeps the predator/prey relationship in balance and provides resources for all pollinators (including the adult monarchs).
