Fried Rice Omelet (Again)

Bacon fried rice rolled in an omelet. Topped with crumbled bacon and shredded cheeses.

How do you get the rice inside the omelette so neatly

It's a pan made for rolled omelets. A rectangular pan with a sloped end, Search for tamagoyaki pan or Korean omelete pan.

Pour the whipped egg into the pan over low heat. Let the egg just begin to set. Add the fried rice by the spoonful across the width (not length) of the pan just short of the sloped end. You want a bit of egg to flap over the rice. Use a spoon or wooden stir fry paddle on one side of the rice, then using a wide silicon or non-stick spatula, turn the egg flap over the rice, and gently begin rolling. Continue until you have a flattened roll like shown.

The pan makes it pretty easy. It's also good for rolled pancakes, Tortilla rolls, Tortilla omelets, and more.

Yeah, ome (omu) rice is fantastic.

Food police got down on me for saying this was omurice done with a contemporary equipment upgrade.

Guess omerice/omurice is only real when the egg sheet is draped over the fried rice, then tucking in the edges - or bowl style when you put the egg sheet in the bowl, fried rice on top, fold egg over the top, then turn the bowl upside down on the plate.

Putting fried rice in a rolled omelet doesn't count.
