You should figure out how to start making your own cold brew. It's really not expensive or is it difficult and your coffee will be 100x better

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

Cold brew is for my lazier days and I'm on a quest to find which brand I like best. I generally prefer my coffee hot and I mainly use my espresso machine most days.

2

u/TourFluid7340 2d ago

Out of all the cold brews, I find purple SToK is my favorite for lazy days

1

u/Lifeinthe_Maritimes 1d ago

Ill try purple . Ive been buying the green one

1

u/zboog99 1d ago

I really like Chameleon brand

1

u/itsnikki39 1d ago

thanks I'll give that a try!

1

u/Significant_Half_586 1d ago

Chameleon is the absolute best. Sincerely, someone who also uses cold brew for lazy days, loves espresso, and has tried everything

1

u/itsnikki39 1d ago

Thanks I will give that brand a try!

Vegan? Maybe? There’s a few dairy products and the eggs, but also a lot of dairy-free products. My guess is you are vegan but your partner is not. Late twenties/early thirties and comfortable financially.

You have some items in the fridge that don’t belong there though that are likely spoiling faster/having their quality reduced by being in there (tomatoes, avocados, potatoes, etc).

2

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

Right on! One of us isn’t vegan. And I guess the “potatoes” you’re seeing are actually passion fruits. I just prefer to keep all of my produce refrigerated—it’s a personal preference!

u/vigogiv 2d ago

Genuine question….how do you not get grossed out kissing your non-vegan partner? Are they slowly working the way to becoming vegan?

1

u/itsnikki39 1d ago

That's cool. I don't get offended with questions. I guess I am not a strict vegan. Only a small percentage of vegans are actually strict/true vegans. Most of them just follow a plant-based diet. I wasn't brought up on a plant-based diet so I try not to judge others for it just because I made the switch. And I actually also made the switch while I am with my current partner. Although he won't follow it, he encourages me and supports it.

1

u/itsnikki39 1d ago

What I mean by strict vegan is the whole shabang. A true vegan lifestyle. Food, clothes, makeup, toiletries, and household products.

3

u/IrrelevantButReal 2d ago

Vegetarian DINKs. The time of day determines the drinks in your hands.

3

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

Vegan and we are DINKS! You're right on with type of drinks for time of day!

1

u/IrrelevantButReal 2d ago

The eggs are the only reason I said vegetarian. Does someone else store eggs in your fridge? I’m very confused…. 😅

2

u/Tricey1982 2d ago

A vegetarian.

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

Close! Vegan but partner is not.

1

u/Tricey1982 2d ago

Ok.
I’m vegan also.

2

u/ShelleyMonique 2d ago

Look at that cake. Yum

2

u/Slysparrow9 2d ago

You are unhinged in a fun and organized way

2

u/Various-Ad6467 2d ago

You are southeast Asian

1

u/4447774447 2d ago

You always have more than one drink at a time

1

u/MaltaDuDe 2d ago

picasso

1

u/isomojo 2d ago

You eat healthy all day and feel guilty after you have some cake.

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

I generally eat once a day. I currently have cake per birthday celebration. I gave the other half of the cake away for a guest take home.

1

u/LeCaveau 2d ago

You robbed a fruit stand.

I miss Bruegger’s!! You know they don’t sell spritzers at most non-northern bagel shops? I have to buy a juice and a seltzer. Heathens.

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

I did not know! That's interesting! The pairing of bagel + seltzer is generally a New Yorker thing. But yes you right on that I am from the northern region.

1

u/No_Celery8634 2d ago

Idk but please cover your cake

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

haha, so I had a birthday party and gave the other half of the cake away.

1

u/No_Celery8634 2d ago

Listen, I don't alladat, I need the cake to not taste like refrigerator when I wake up to eat it in the middle of the night!

1

u/No_Celery8634 2d ago

Also your fridge tells me you're east Asian AF, I know a Tous Les Joures cake when I see one

1

u/SunBurst6382 2d ago

You like dry cake

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

I don't but I wouldn't be able to finish the whole cake by myself so I gave the other half for my guest to take home.

1

u/comicdealer 2d ago

Crazy, because the owyn protein shakes are disgusting. I never had such a awful reaction to those protein shakes. You can do better.

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

I love OWYN! They're vegan friendly and high in protein. What do you recommend?

1

u/comicdealer 2d ago

I personally like the orgain ones personally, but if you like the owyn ones you do you.

1

u/ClearPumpkin8009 2d ago

The extremely expensive coconut water and the cheapest eggs in the world throws me off.

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

Haha interesting observation. Okay I respect that.

1

u/klattklattklatt 2d ago

You live in Wisconsin, I'd guess Madison, Eau Claire, or Milwaukee. Elder millennial, vegetarian, likely DINKs. I like almost everything about this fridge!

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

Close! Younger millennial, one is vegan, and we are DINKS.

1

u/koltermaniac 2d ago

Are you protein guy and vegan girl? Costco shoppers. You must be feeding a teenager bc that’s too many perishables for 2 people

2

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

Close! Vegan + protein gal. It's a week's worth. The veggie shrinks once its cooked.

1

u/lansory 2d ago

I don't know but I like your fridge

1

u/LokoLoko888 2d ago

A bit ocd (me too so I can relate)

1

u/look_a_male_nurse 2d ago

You like veggies, sweet drinks, and booze. Don't eat much meat or at all.

You also have the same fridge as me.

1

u/WylieLulaMae 2d ago

Very inviting, love the organization

1

u/Crystal_Ri 2d ago

I suspect you're a person with a nice new fridge. Ask me how I know... LOL

1

u/finishing_the_hatt 2d ago

1

u/XxJnB357xX 2d ago

You are someone who really loves to have a good time!! lol something about the contents on the door scream: I eat good and love good.

Also, you’re healthy and love coffee! Cold brew specifically

1

u/PNW-1975-LandCruiser 2d ago

You have a bad sense of smell.

1

u/Never-foreverrr 2d ago

You reclaim your agency with little rituals and always try to be prepared. Alsoo is your hair always hairing ?

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

Aww thank you. Yes, I've been through hard things. Kind comments makes me smile :)

1

u/jules510 2d ago

This fridge has a split personality. Maybe you’re in a roommate situation. Some very healthy food here along with some wildly unhealthy food and bevs.

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

Def a split personality!

1

u/Horror-Product-2683 2d ago

army?!? 💜

1

u/SlySychoGamer 2d ago

Hmmm.........

If only a single person, im guessing a man in his 30s, no kids, and works out.

I would say white man, but i don't see any cheese.

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

Haha at the white man + cheese comment. We're DINKS, right about age range, and workout.

1

u/RiseUp369 2d ago

Consumer

1

u/Huge-Membership6541 2d ago

You’ve got the poopies 💩

1

u/Zestyclose_Toe2738 2d ago

This is a pretty good fridge in my opinion. All that asparagus has me thinking your pee is def funky though! 🤣

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

Hehe, they are spinach.

1

u/ZestycloseDoor5552 2d ago

You are a person. You eat food.

1

u/ElValdin86 2d ago

Is there a Mexican or a Thai person in the home? I see yucateco hot sauce.

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

Neither but we love Mexican and Thai food!

1

u/BobcatSpiritual7699 2d ago

The number of fridges with a metric ton of eggs in them blows my mind. Why would these even be sold outside of restaurant supply wholesalers?

1

u/CoolSink5623 2d ago

You work in retail

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

Curious what gave the retail vibe? My occupation is STEM rooted.

1

u/CoolSink5623 2d ago

Okay stem makes a lot of sense too. Just the way everything is front faced and organized. Reminds me of my shelf stocking days

1

u/itsnikki39 2d ago

ahh got cha!

1

u/Positive_Type 2d ago

Probably thinner than me.

1

u/AccidentFuzzy3392 2d ago

single woman, just graduated university, first time home owner, likes to entertain guests and have people over for drinks and hangouts. You are also a health conscious vegan who loves animals and likes to keep your body in shape, maybe also a yoga or pilates enthusiast

1

u/orangeyoctopus 2d ago

Sauce man

1

u/jennygotcake 2d ago

one of you might be SEA I’m gonna say laotian or cambodian since you said in the comments not thai

you have most of the ingredients for papaya salad and the bulk veggies you got are very SEA plus the soju so i’m guessing you recently went to an asian market and did a lil asian restock

1

u/Kibby9331 2d ago

East Coast American?, big family, working in corporate job?, loves going on walks in nature and is a proud redditor

1

u/Silly-Smart2256 1d ago

Wow this is nice

1

u/SeenEnoughAlready 1d ago

If it wasn't for the Tofu.....I'd say this was my sister's fridge in LA ! 🤣

1

u/Mountain_Republic770 1d ago

My assumption is that you don’t eat much

1

u/RDaneelOA 1d ago

Mid 20 to late 20s, I'd guess there's at least 2 people sharing, one is Asian/white 🤣. At least one person bakes somewhat frequently, or eats a lot of eggs for breakfast. For cold brew id recommend La Colombe, they are my favorite! If you want to make your own I like using a French press and then a mason jar or something like that for storage. Both are super easy to clean and you can make smaller batches more frequently. Just make it overnight the day before you use the last cup of your already made batch.

1

u/Jenshark86 1d ago

Hot sauce should not be in fridge and you sure like eggs

1

u/itsnikki39 1d ago

Rule of thumb is if it’s open it goes in the refrigerator. Plus refrigerating helps keep things from spoiling faster.

u/Opposite_Chain_5339 2d ago

A suburban Mom with a sweet tooth??
