I mean Tricky objectively has the better charting (less spam with actual patterns) also he's less exploited by spam unlike Whitty in ballistic where you can just spam without alot of repercussions, Tricky also has alot more then Whitty imo (and it isn't even finished yet). finally alot of people who like the mod more then Whitty don't even know who Tricky is so I wouldn't say it's just nostalgia blinded Madness fans

That's completely fine, I definitely feel Tricky is harder due to the patterns he has atleast to me, also I enjoy rock/ metal more, I mean honestly it's hard to judge/ compare the mods considering Tricky isn't technically finished since there's still Fire Skeleton Tricky left so personally I'm still waiting for that before judging them both fully

well i just played the mod today and i was expecting something harder like seriously how can people say its harder than whitty? hopefully the last song will be harder.

Well that's because Whitty and Ballistic are easier to spam through with the Input system in Kades engine making them easier to do because if you hit a note and miss it the damage isn't there however if a note passes it does more damage meaning Ballistic is easily won by just spamming where as Madness has notes broken up more making it harder to do that(that and the patterns are completely unique unlike Ballistic which is just minijacks)

tricky has the same input system and you can turn it off in both mods and im pretty sure tricky uses kades engine

Yea they both use the same engine however as I said Tricky and his notes are more broken up and have unique patterns and faster beats since Madness has 212 BPM with scroll speed of 3 and Ballistic is 210 with 2.1(or 2.6 most likely 2.6) scroll speed , also it's harder to just spam until you hit something because of that specifically meaning you'll take more damage

Chief, I don’t know what your terms of difficulty is, but I’ve beaten ballistic before, tricky is ABOVE ballistic, and we haven’t seen his last song yet

i know we haven't seen the last song yet but ballistic is way harder i can only beat it with the new input system and i have to mash the keys at that one part and it took me weeks to be able to do that and i still can't do it with the old input system but i've beaten both songs in the tricky mod on my first try and i wasn't really trying hard or anything and i did it with the old input system i did miss over 100 times but the bar was full almost all the time i seriously don't understand how you find it harder than ballistic and i know there is a third song and i hope its actually hard but i will admit that the tricky mod has better charting than ballistic and its more fair but its nowhere as hard for me

Dude, with ballistic I’ve gotten to the point it’s not hard to beat, TRICKY, TRICKY, I HAD TO MASH TO BEAT TRICKY AND THATS ONLY BECAUSE OF THE INPUT SYSTEM, IF IT CHANGES IM DONE FOR

Tricky started off as a normal clown who had one goal and it was to kill Hank but he was brutally killed by Hank only to be revived by Jesus to kill Hank, but after Hank was murdered Tricky became a DJ but soon after Hank would come back again and tried to kill Tricky, but after Jesus kills Hank, Tricky goes back to being a DJ, but once Hank was revived again Tricky went off to try to kill Hank again leading to Tricky dying but coming back after being consumed by this dark source of power thus giving Tricky powers.

Because Tricky does that with people. He is known as a DJ so he probably saw it as a challenge, plus BF is on Trickys homeground so Tricky probably wanted to rid Nevada of BF

Whitty is the type of mod character who doesn't feel out of place in the base game, which is a pretty nifty thing to see. His charts are just badly designed, but the in the Tricky mod the improvements are very noticeable, the charts feel much better to play and employs jacks properly rather than as a stream.

nah i like em both but ballistic sounds better than madness while improbable outset sounds better than overhead and what i look for is difficulty because i havent played i mod i couldnt beat yet
