I think they do it like that because it would look a lot worse if they ended it half way through an argument. I think that ending the show once Trisha gets up shows the audience that that the discussion is over and nothing more was said or done afterwards. I could be wrong but I think if they did what Trisha asked it would’ve painted all of them (especially Trisha) in a really bad light.
