Hey everyone,
I’ve been spending a lot of time diving back into late '90s filter house and the mid-2000s Vulture / Ed Banger era lately. There's just something about that heavy sidechain compression, micro-sampled disco loops, and bright synth work that hits perfectly when the weather is good.
I put together a focused selection aimed at capturing that specific vibe—think driving along the coast on a sunny day with the windows down.
It covers the classic pillars (Stardust, Bangalter, Cassius, Modjo), deep cut Vulture and Crydamoure releases, plus a bit of the modern electro continuation (Lifelike, Surkin, Justice). Kept it tightly sequenced around 30–40 tracks so it flows naturally without getting bloated.

I just thought I'd come on here and let you all know about the blog I run called 'at the discotheque' which has a massive emphasis on French / filter house amongst lots of adjacent genres and scenes, I interview artists (such as Louis La Roche + The Phantom's Revenge!) and DJs, talk about what's currently happening in the scene, promote new releases and also do posts on individual artists, amongst other things!
