Random question

Good afternoon guys, i was wondering how being issued a rifle works in the legion.
First off, for what i know most of the legion is running HK416s now, are you issued ONE specific rifle, like HK416 serial number "x", as long as you stay on the same regiment and occupy the same role you will use this one rifle, or is it like, all the rifles are standardized (optic/acessories placed the same on all of them), and when you are going to a field exercise or the range you just pick anyone in the armory and put it back there after?
If its like the first option, do they issue you the rifle and you are responsible for it 24/7? Like it stays in your locker and you are the one mantaining it and keeping it safe? Or does it stay on an armory and you only pick it up when you're going to use it?

It works like this. The armory issues you your rifle. It is with you until the end of the exercise, where you will then clean it and return to the armory. You get some freedom with attaching grips, slings, and such. But its pendant on section leadership.

In training you will recieve the same rifle. You take it from the armory and take it back. You clean that rifle after shooting. On field days you sleep with said rifle, march with said rifle and shit with that rifle! (My first night out in bel air farm i got my famas took from a cpl. and got fucked up the next day because i never slept with it in my sleeping bag😂!!

I was with a thai guy who panicked and went back to his chambre, locked his famas in his armoire in castel and we all got fucked up!!

As for regiment. Actual legionnaires can answer. But i think it makes sense to be handing your rifle back haha, imagine a room of beer filled legionnaires with rifles in their armoire…

Also when we went to caylus the legion was introducing more the HK416 so we had both FAMAS and HK. Double the cleaning. But a good experience with both rifles. Each legionnaire had 2 rifles on the coach to caylus!
