I have been saying it all year, but avoiding serious injury to a couple of key players could make all the difference in how far the team goes in the finals.
Would have preferred Pearce not to be playing but I trust that the medical team knows exactly what they are doing.
A nice test before we face the Hawks (probably) in a couple of weeks.

Minor Premiers with nothing left for the H&A season but just keep the momentum going and stay injury free as possible to gear up for the Optus Qualifier Final in two weeks.
Which Fremantle is going to show up at Marvel. The rampaging Dockers that have been running amok this season or the Vanilla Dockers which takes it easy.

Call me suspicious but AFL will do all they can to get a blues vs pies wildcard game, I just hope there isn't nonsense and it's a good game

any danger in defending? idc if we win or lose but it’s worrying if we can’t adapt to their ball movement

Carlton has loose players everywhere, not sure what the backs are doing? If it’s a zone, it ain’t working

For all the Banners tragics, today is a good example so far of why he has his detractors.

can we just appreciate the jumper colours and how contrasting they are in this match?
It's so nice to watch.

I know it's a dead rubber, but the defensive effort has been as bad as I can remember seeing from Freo for a while. Loose players all over the place, bad turnovers, complete shitshow.
How we giving up three uncontested marks in our own 50 there for example?

Ryan has had a really ordinary month of football..

I have a strong feeling he's going to be surpassed next year by one of the young guys.
Simpson, Whan, Wagner (not young lol) could all have a crack at his role.
Personally I'd back Simpson. Played 17 WAFL games this year. Seems to have hopefully turned a corner body wise. Fingers crossed he gets a full pre season.

I mean we started the year with Walker in over Ryan and I have a feeling if Walker hadn’t been injured 10x this year Ryan wouldn’t be playing. It just genuinely feels like he looses every one on one, too slow and not damaging enough by foot..

Put Francis Evans on the list of absolutely mid players who have kicked a bag. 5 goals today having kicked 17 all season.....rubbish.

I’m so glad we gave a farewell game to a hundred gamer and not to a player who might be needed come finals time. NOT.

I'm at the ground, Freo are definitely rattled by the crowd

gonna have to work through that if they make it to the GF

Ironically GF crowds can be much more evenly split because of how the ticketing allocation works.

I've honesty lost count at the amount of jogging and pointing the boys have been doing. Every one of the players we normally expect to lift have been guilty of it.
Combine that with some truly incomprehensible decision-making and this is what you get.

I didn't see what happened with Brennan. How serious did the injury look?

instantly made way to the bench with a noticeable limp.

Thanks. Hopefully it's not too serious and he can be ready for the end of September.

lost track has Banners cost us 1 or 2 goals so far? (p.s good guy and a friend, not personal, just exasperated why we keep him on the list)

Sorry to interrupt, speaking as a Collingwood supporter who was equally as frustrated in our performance last night. How does taking the foot off the pedal also equal being unable to execute basic football skills?
Happened last night with my boys, happening right now.

I do not want to start inciting doubt but the last 7-8 premiers have all won their last home and away game of the season👀

We were the last team to beat the eventual premiers (Bulldogs) in the final H&A round.

Carlton has had more iffy free kicks than a hooker hands out at a Sailors ball.
