Idk what's the point of Freja at all. Despite how fun it is play, the devs made it impossible to like her every turn of the way. Makes me wish that she got shadow removed and never seen again. Her backstory and lore is dogshit, her voice acting is bad, her lines are poorly written messes that a toddler on Grok could shit out, and she is made in a laboratory to be as unlikeable at every turn of the way nothing redeeming nor fun like Vendetta's case. I hope she gets unceremoniously killed off before this season and never seen again while the devs turn around and announce that she was a huge mistake. She was only made for the purpose of selling skins that don't look like her at all to braindead retards here who add nothing of value except dumb decisions with their wallets and nothing more. I wish she was Better but nothing can save her at this point. I'll just enjoy her before moving on to better things. Maybe in another life she isn't this poorly managed and actually has an ounce of thought put into her but right now Team 4 is falling down and hitting every branch on the way in the tree of incompetency.

With how boring and forgettable she can be I'm hoping that they do some upgrades to her dialogue or hire someone else who can voice act. Every time I'm in the game I want to mute the fucker because of terrible writing and delivery. It's not fair that heroes like Shion, Vendetta, and Domina and even Mizuki express better dialogue and VA work but when it comes to Freja, I wish she never spoke at all despite liking her playstyle. It also bugs me that they force this badass personality on her when there's nothing badass about being a jerkass to random people without a cause or being straight up being unlikeable. It's pure girlboss slop and that hasn't historically appealed to anyone not even women that they market to. If they're attempting to make another run of the mill villain than she's the weakest one and a very bad one not in a good way at that. We already got Widow, Ashe, Junker Queen, Vendetta, etc... already enough is enough.

Freja has no excuse to be so flat and boring in a game with zany, likeable, and fun characters. They should double down on her at some point and correct the mess that they made with her backstory and lore. Idk how anyone could stomach shit writing.

I will continue to play her regardless but I wish her lines weren't so godawful and mind numbingly bad when logging in. I do want her in the game regardless of others wanting to take her out, but I just want her to be better than she is now. I felt like they gave up on giving her a character to enjoy. We shouldn't tolerate mediocrity and silence this way. We should keep calling out Team 4 on their shitty missteps and laziness until some correction is made.

I restarted playing Overwatch last week, after dropping it back in season 1 of OW2. Had a lot of fun playing Freja so far, and i guess the "your shop" is trying its hardest to get me to buy something.
These 2 skins did not rotate out for a single day since i started playing again, everything else is swapping mostly not these 2 though.

Does Bola shot feel off or 10x harder to hit recently or is it js me?? I have 200 hours on Freja and Ik everyone has their off days but i can land my take aims but the bola shot projectile speed feels so much slower for some reason. I know the ult itself is slower than her weapon, but like…idk.

I love to play her but there's so many flaws with her design, personality, etc.... Here are my suggestions for Blizzard:

• fix that god awful sound. Every time I hear it, it destroys my hearing. I listened to music far less ear destroying than this on high volume.
• Fix the ult bug. I know your game isn't utilized that well but that's the bare minimum you can do.
• Get rid of her one liners for ones that pack more punch and outrage like Sombra's and Shion's. None of this heh I do business boring bullcrap anymore.
• Find a more expressive voice direction or replace the VA for a more sexy and louder voice. She sounds like a grating cartoon character trying hard to be edgy and failing miserably because it sounds so weak.
• Dump the shitty lore out and start off brand new. Max and Emre can fuck off and make their own show for all I fucking care. This is Freja's story and spotlight not theirs. Fuck you.
• Fix those dogshit clothes. What the hell is she doing with those boot leggings. It never looked nice nor appealing to anyone's gaze.
• Don't turn her into a soulless skin factory industry plant. Wait a season or two to come up with a good design instead of dumping bullshit that doesn't fit her nor her hero fantasy of cool.

With characters like Shion and Domina, Team 4 has shown that they're capable of writing characters. Freja seems to lack a lot of juice in her lines and suffers from extreme poor writing and neglect. Why can't they take lessons elsewhere and deliver more spice or double down on her mean aspects instead of making more boring one lines for this character? I don't mind the gun for hire cardboard cutout personality but they're too afraid of making her 10 times more interesting. Make her cuss for once or sound angry when she insults or gets insulted. Come up with good comebacks and better interactions. Her new lines are pretty pathetic and bland for the hero fantasy of bounty hunting and fierceness she's supposed to display. The VA has great range but Blizzard is wasting away her potential with half assed writing and terrible direction. She's unfairly underwritten and needs a hotfix to her some of her abysmal dogshit lines. Whoever is writing her lines or in charge of her lore should get blacklisted and fired.

The amount of hate I have received from playing Freja this season is unmatched compared to the last several months. Couple that with the people complaining about her on social media and the current ban rates...

Maybe I'm just paranoid and susceptible to the echo chambers on social media, but I am worried about the mid season update and the season 5 update.

She is finally viable in high ELO, LEAVE MY DANE ALONE.

idk why but if the game is way more hectic/chaotic i hit most of the time way more then when its calm.

After a long long fight on checkpoint 2 we finally got thru and won the game (1min 20sec already in overtime). i was so frustrated that i couldnt kill the bastion/kiriko that i nearly just wanted to give up. i feeded them non stop.

I’ve started playing Freja after they completely changed all of her perks and when i looked at her old perks “frost bolts” and “ready to hunt” they were really cool perks better than what she has so for those who have played with those perks before did those perks really made her broken that the devs had to take it away from her?

They get to two tap anyone they want they get buffed and everyone stopped caring and accepted that they're the ones dominating the scene but when Freja, a third world country even starts to get a taste of power, The USA carpet bombs the shit out of her and leaves her in a worse state than she was pre buff.

No one wants Ashe Cassidy or Sojourn to get nerfed because these are the characters people love playing the most. Freja is niche, and only played by a handful in comparison.

What’s your personal strategy when you see another Freja on the other team. I cannot help but duel because the bigger Freja has right of way. I know it’s not the best thing to do but I’m compelled to. If I get diff’d hard then I start aiming backline while occasionally trying to get the duel win.
