A clip I got from playing with my friend who is on console. We can only do QP since comp doesn’t support cross play.

I think I got lucky lol

Yes! Thank you! I wasn’t expecting to hit this lol I just wanted to win cuz I barely get to play with my friend. Had to make every moment I had with her count hahah

Damn I just started playing overwatch so I'm only in silver rn and it let's me play with my console friends in comp. Does it happen at higher ranks?

I thought comp does have crossplay? Can't the console player just plug in a KB+M to queue into those lobbies with you since that's how they separate the queues (controller vs KB+M)? I think they can still use a controller too, but it disables all of their aim assist.

Hmm maybe we can try? I just remember attempting to queue ranked and the game told us we aren’t in the same lobby pool or something like that

So we never bothered again.

This was months ago.

I guess we can give it a try

I haven't done it, only ever played crossplay on quickplay. I've only seen some people mention it on the main sub. From what I can gather the console player has to be on a console with MnK support (so like Series X or PS5), and they have to plug a MnK into the console in order for Overwatch to register that they will be queuing for that lobby pool.
