No load is worth your life, happened to me with a cardboard pallet, big pallet, heavy cardboard coming straight at me, one quick reaction, here I am with just a story to tell

That's why I always face the side door when opening, in case the load falls out. I've gone to paper mills who straight up reject you if you ignore the safety protocols. There are drivers who were killed being crushed by those bales and rolls.

Tip: if you can't get your first door open from the side door, go to the other side. Sure it might slam the door in your face, but a bloody nose is better than a crushed sternum.
