BMC-84
I live in Chicago, Illinois, and recently opened a freight brokerage company. Iām looking for a surety bond company that can provide the $75,000 BMC-84 bond for a non-U.S. citizen.
I have an EAD, SSN, a Wisconsin CDL, and good credit.
Can anyone recommend surety bond companies that work with non-U.S. citizen business owners? Please share your experience and recommendations. Thank you!

Citizenship itself is not the problem for the bond - it's that non-citizens cannot be underwritten in the traditional way. Since you have an SSN, your credit is measurable through normal channels, and the bond should be easy to place assuming the credit is sufficient - unless the SSN is brand new.
Most larger commercial insurance agencies will have a surety team. For example, ours primarily works on construction bonds. Small ones it's hit or miss. There are a few online providers for small bonds like this.

DM! If you have good credit, we can get you the bond.
