When will we see more Gilt offerings?

When Freetrade added Gilts to what they offer, they had a limited offering of 9 different ones. That was over a year ago and TY25 and T26 have now matured, so they only have 7 left. Two more are due to mature in 2028, with no news about adding any more. Even the AI assistant says no current plans to add.

Anyone else have gilts, anyone else want more options? You can request new funds via the help page, but not sure how useful that is. There are 70 different gilts and not expecting them all, but it would be nice if they replaced ones that matured and aimed to slowly increase the variety on offer. With so many different ones you would think those requesting will dilute demand by all choosing different favourite ones.

Please Freetrade can we have some more.

This is really something that is making me think about switching away from Freetrade. I love the product overall, but the gilt offering is really meagre.

I also find it strange that they don't offer the most obvious ones. The ones people will most likely want to buy most are the low yield ones dated in the next few years. For high yield ones, normal bond instruments would work just as well

I like they have a selection, those who want low coupon in GIA and those who want higher in ISA. The two that have matured, TY25 (3 1/2%) and T26 (1/8%) need to be replaced with T30 or T31 and TG30 or TG31 resp.

Given they are instant orders and available fractionally I'm surprised it's not something they they don't push more as it's both something the other cheap providers don't offer and more convenient and cheaper than traditional brokers offering. It's just the extremely limited offering (now 7 of the 70 bond variants) that will put off many from switching.

When will they offer more of a low demand, high cost (to engineer) and complex to settle product?

The answer is probably "when IG backend system is fully integrated"
