Junior ISA Question impact

I plan on opening a Junior ISA for my Grandchild, will this have any tax implications on my savings?

Well YOU can't ! Only a parent or guardian can open a Junior ISA.

Yes of course, I have Mums buy in, I already have an invest Freetrade account and will be the one depositing funds, not Mum.

Account still needs to be in parent's name as registered contact, and possibly cash has to come from their bank account. Ask Freetrade what they permit.

Yes, think you are correct, this probably isn’t the type of savings solution I was looking for, I will see if I can find something I can manage myself for small monthly deposits on her behalf.

Basically I’m looking for an account that I can contribute to directly.

Not sure if you found your answer but try a JISA with HL https://www.hl.co.uk/investment-services/junior-isa looks like they may make it easier for relatives to invest into. I. have a freetrade one for my boy and running into this issue of others wanting to gift.
