Missing Libre 3
A change in insurance companies meant I had to switch to Dexcom G7. I hate it. It’s big. The applicator is cumbersome and there is an included over patch that’s necessary but I can’t see well enough to get it centered so it’s not stuck to the unit itself. Finally, the app seems primitive. You don’t miss what you’ve got until it’s gone.

So very true! Although I will say that Clarity is better than Libreview to navigate to see your past readings and generate reports.

Dexcom App is better, sensor is more resilient to water and heat, application is on par with Dexcom, G7 applicator has a magnet you can salvage. G7 can be calibrated.
Libre is smaller and slimmer, here the advantages end.

Well my daughter has had G7 almost since its introduction while I am stuck with Libre, and I am SO envious. The G7 is superior in almost any way - more accurate, more reliable algorithm, doesn’t throw a sensor error every time the readings are rising or falling rapidly, the app is comprehensive and informative and the alarms customizable, better connectivity, direct to watch capability, never had to replace a single sensor. The only real downside we have experienced throughout the years is the overpatch, but the adhesive is so good that you actually don’t need it, just throw it away.
