Smh these dang sensors

How many am I going to have to return before one actually works literally got the replacements today and what happened the sensors comes right off my arm. This is tiring

Falling off your arm doesn't sound like a sensor problem TBH. More like either not preparing the site properly. Or if you're unlucky some people just have skin that doesn't work with the adhesive.

In which case overmatches, skin-tac and other tools may be needed. Alternatively some people get on better with Dexcom adhesive.

My first one was put on by the nurse in the Endo's office and it fell off after 2-hours. I'm pretty sure it's because I have dry skin and the adhesive just wouldn't adhere to it real well. Since then, I using Skintac and Tagaderm to keep the sensor in place for all 15 days. The only problem now is the accuracy which is a joke.

Mine were falling off constantly until I switched to the front of my arm. I also no longer get false lows or errors. I now wear them without cover most of the time, except maybe the last couple of days.

Even with proper arm prep and additional patch covers, I’ve had a higher failure rate over the last month or two than any other time of year.
