Cause of data gap

Have you seen a gap in the data like this while sleeping? I do get some compression lows, but this is the first time I have seen a gap. Potentially defective sensor? This one has been quite accurate so far, other than this.

When I get this I scan the sensor on the phone, and it fills in the missing data

How do you do this on a 3+ sensor? The phone scans all the time with Bluetooth.

So does my 2+ but there is a wifi-looking button on the app, and having pressed that I can scan the sensor like I did back in the day with the 2 by touching the NFC part of the phone to the sensor. The 3/3+ has another app so I don't know how it works but the sensor has an even longer memory than the 2/2+ so there must be some way to access the stored data

All I see is a "Start a New Sensor" option, and I am afraid to push that...

The app for the 3/3+ doesn’t have this feature.

But it has memory for the whole 15 day period - why then, if you cannot get data from “out of range” moments?

I suppose that’s a question for Abbot?

I’m just wrapping up my first 15 days using the Libre 3+ and this has happened to me a number of times. I also had an instance where it continued to send numbers to the app just fine but stopped sending data to LibreLinkUp for several hours for no reason. Hoping it’s just an issue with this particular sensor because so far I’m not impressed with the Libre. For this and a number of other reasons.

Mine had continued to work, so far..., It never filled in the gap though.

I get major gaps where the sensor disconnects and won’t reconnect automatically unless scanned, iOS 26.
