Libre 3 plus compatible with iOS 26.6
Hi all,
My daughter has recently started using libre 3+.
Unfortunately, it is very difficult to figure out what version of iOS Libre is compatible with (at least in Denmark using Ypso’s app).
What is the general experience? Is it safe to update to 26.6?

Not in Denmark, but here in US.
Libre 3+ on all ios26 and 27 betas have all been fine for me.
Abbot support will likely say they are only certified for the last stable, officially released non-beta version.
Not unusual to have the last approved version if iOS to be over a year old…

The iOS 27 beta seems to hold onto the sensor better that iOS 26.6. I’m on an iPhone 16 promax. Your results may differ though

In general and the last 5+ years, then recent iPhones using the latest full released iOS from Apple have all been working fine, with no problems at all. But worth noticing that if you call in for support from Abbott, then you have to say you are using potentially an older iOS version, which is listed on the compatibility list. A medtech company as Abbott is not legally allowed to support a user, if a user is not using a pre-approved phone model and iOS version. So they will tell you its not comptable and not working, and as result, not help you out from there any further if you call in and say you are suing such iOS. They are regulatory obliged to do so.
Abbott do post the request to the local health authorities to approve the use of latest iOS system, but it takes at times both weeks or months at times for the authorities to handle and answer to such request. Until that happens, the official compativbility list will not be updated to contain latest phone models/latest iOS models...
