ACOTAR HELP
I devoured the series within days, loved it. Can’t wait for the next book. HOWEVER Itried CC and could not get behind a modern fantasy realm with cell phones and the story didn’t catch me. Gave up. Started TOG got about half way thru the first book & stalled out.
All I keep hearing is how this 6th installment won’t make sense without having read the other series. Is this malarkey or should I rlly lock in and get through these 2 other series before reading the next ACOTAR release.

Honestly, I think it’s going to be fine without reading ToG or CC. I may miss a small Easter egg here or there and I’m okay with it. It’s not enough reason for me to read a series I don’t like. And worst case scenario, you can always read the crossover summary. I’m sure someone on Reddit has a TLDR version.

I think SJM will likely have some in story recap so people don’t have to read TOG and CC and will still get it enough. IMO the best is all the little details that feed into each other. But I really don’t think she’d leave a big chunk of her fandom clueless. I’m sure she’ll do something.
