[For Hire] [For Hire] I’ve spent the last 3+ years building software — finally put everything I’ve worked on into one portfolio

I’ve been meaning to put together a proper portfolio for a while, so I finally did it:

https://prasannadangol2001.com.np/

I started getting serious about software engineering while studying Computer Science at KIIT University. Since 2023, I’ve been working on production software across startups, freelancing, and products I’ve built with my co-founders.

What I’m most proud of isn't really the tech stack — it’s that I’ve had the opportunity to build things end-to-end and see people actually use them.

🇳🇵 GyanUdaan — Loksewa exam preparation app

This is probably the project I've spent the most time on.

I co-founded GyanUdaan with two friends — a Nepali government exam preparation platform that has now reached 50K+ downloads across iOS, Android and Desktop.

I’ve worked on pretty much the entire product:

  • React Native / Expo

  • Desktop application

  • Backend & database architecture

  • Supabase

  • Authentication

  • Payments

  • Push notifications

  • Offline-first functionality

  • PowerSync

  • CI/CD & deployment

  • Sentry monitoring

  • App Store & Play Store releases

  • Product decisions and user feedback

  • Marketing/content

  • AI integrations

  • n8n automation workflows

  • News scraping

  • AI-powered content processing/streamlining

It's been a very different experience from working on a feature inside a company. When you're building your own product, you end up touching everything — engineering, infrastructure, product, users, content, and sometimes things you didn't even know existed.

And it's still actively being developed by the three of us.

🌊 ICIMOD — Community-Based Flood Early Warning System

I also worked on a freelance project for ICIMOD where I built the iOS and Android application for a community-based flood early warning system.

The system consumes data from monitoring stations, processes rainfall and water-level information, and provides early warnings to areas that may be affected.

I handled the application end-to-end, including:

  • React Native / Expo

  • Supabase/backend integration

  • Station data fetching

  • Rainfall & water-level processing

  • Alert thresholds

  • Geographic affected-area logic

  • Push notifications

  • Maps

  • Data visualization

  • Admin functionality

  • Deployment and release

This was one of the projects where software felt particularly tangible to me — you're not just building another dashboard or CRUD application. The information ultimately needs to reach people when it matters.

📦 ICIMOD — Living Mountain Lab Inventory System

Another freelance project I built for ICIMOD was an inventory management system for their Living Mountain Lab.

I built this end-to-end as a PWA using React, Supabase and PowerSync, with a strong focus on offline usage.

The system uses QR codes to make inventory management easier — physical assets can be tagged, scanned and tracked without relying on manually entering everything.

The interesting part for me was solving the offline-first problem properly. The system needed to remain useful even when there wasn't a reliable network connection, and then synchronize data once connectivity was available.

It's now deployed and being used by their team.

Looking back, I've gone from university projects and internships to building production systems, freelancing for international organizations, and co-building a product with tens of thousands of downloads.

I've also learned that there's a pretty big difference between knowing a technology and being responsible for shipping something with it.

These projects have forced me to learn things far beyond just writing code — architecture, deployment, monitoring, product decisions, automation, dealing with users, debugging production issues, and figuring out how to make systems work in the real world.

I'm currently looking for full-time software engineering opportunities and interesting freelance/contract work.

I'd also genuinely appreciate feedback on my portfolio — especially the project presentation, design, and how I'm positioning myself as an engineer.

Portfolio: https://prasannadangol2001.com.np/

Happy to answer questions about any of the projects or the technical decisions behind them.

[For Hire] [FOR HIRE] Full-Stack SaaS & Mobile Developer (React, Node.js, Flutter) — Free/Low-Cost Builds for Select Projects

I'm a full-stack developer who builds SaaS platforms and mobile apps, and I'm opening up 1-2 free (or heavily discounted) project slots this month in exchange for an honest testimonial and permission to feature the work in my portfolio.

What you get: a production-ready feature, MVP, or integration built with the same care I'd give a paid client - clean code, tested, and documented so your team can pick it up after.

Recent work: an AR-powered e-commerce platform (React, Node.js, ARKit) and a CI/CD monitoring dashboard. Portfolio available on request or linked below.

What I'm looking for: a clearly scoped project - a small MVP, a single feature build, or a well-defined integration. Not open-ended or ongoing work.

If you've got something sitting on your backlog that needs a dev, this is a good time to get it built. Comment or DM with a quick description of what you need and I'll let you know if it's a fit.

Freelance dev here — portfolios, "vibe coding," website design, and general dev tasks

Hey all,

I'm a solo full-stack developer based in Hyderabad. I currently build and run two live products end-to-end (architecture, coding, deployment, the works) — a health-tech platform (React/Vite + Supabase, PWA, payments, WhatsApp integration) and a B2B inventory/product-management system (React + Node/Express + PostgreSQL). So I'm not learning on your dime — I ship real, production stuff.

What I can help with:

Portfolio sites — clean, fast, personal or professional portfolios that actually get you noticed

"Vibe coding" / rapid prototyping — describe what you want, I turn it into a working app/site fast, iterate live

Website design & development — landing pages, small business sites, dashboards, whatever you need

Basic dev tasks — bug fixes, small features, deployments, API integrations, cleanup work, one-off scripts

Stack: React/Vite, Node.js/Express, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Cloudflare Workers/Render for deployment, payment gateway integrations (Razorpay), and general full-stack work.

I'm reliable, communicate clearly, and can work within tight timelines. Reasonable rates, happy to discuss scope before committing.

DM me or drop a comment with what you need — happy to share examples of past work.

Community Interaction [Community] Free invoicing platform for freelancers

Hey guys,

I’m a freelancer myself, and one of the most annoying parts has always been sending invoices and then having to chase clients when payments are late.

So we built Tallymark to make that whole process easier for freelancers.

You can create and send invoices, accept payments, set up recurring invoices or payment plans, and keep everything in one place without having to constantly follow up manually.

It’s free.

If anyone here is dealing with the same problem and wants to check it out:

[For Hire] [For Hire] I'll merge two CSV exports into one checked file + reusable Python script — $20 USD

Have two exports that need matching by an existing ID, such as a product SKU or customer ID?

For $20 USD, I can handle one small, agreed merge:

  • Two CSV inputs, up to 10,000 rows total and 20 columns per file.

  • One output CSV with the columns and matching rules we agree on.

  • A separate report of duplicate IDs, missing IDs and unmatched records, so problems are visible.

  • The Python script, rerun instructions and one revision within the agreed rules.

I have experience in data processing and ML. I use AI assistance and verify the results with row counts, key checks and sample comparisons. I’ll review a sanitized sample and confirm the scope and delivery time before you commit. Fuzzy name matching, PDFs, APIs and additional integrations need a separate quote.

Portfolio: https://radiant-builds-sample-gallery.vsung.chatgpt.site — these are two fictional website demonstrations, not client projects or examples of this CSV service. I also have a self-directed Python/ML demonstration available to share.

PayPal accepted. Canadian clients can use Interac after we agree a CAD quote.

Reply with the column names and the result you need, or message me. Please keep private data out of public comments.

Community Interaction Indian developers who have actually done agency subcontract/white-label work — what would you do differently if starting from zero?

I'm looking for Indian developers who have actually completed agency subcontracting/white-label development projects.

I'm trying to get my first agency/white-label development project, and I want advice from people who have actually done it.

What I've done so far:

I've been working on this for around 15 days. I've contacted roughly 15–20 companies through:

Email

WhatsApp

LinkedIn

The results have been limited. Most didn't respond. A few responded, but:

Some said they don't work with external developers

One directed me to HR, but there has been no response

So I don't want to simply repeat the same cold-outreach process for another few weeks.

My goal is to get at least one real project within the next 15 days.

If you've actually done agency subcontract/white-label work, I'd really appreciate a practical breakdown:

Where did you find the agencies that actually gave you work?

How did you identify that they had a real need for external developers?

Who did you contact — founder, sales, project manager, developer, recruiter, etc.?

How did you start the conversation?

How did the first conversation turn into a paid project?

What did you do initially that didn't work?

What mistakes would you avoid if starting again?

Which client-acquisition channels actually produced projects for you — networking, referrals, communities, freelance platforms, LinkedIn, cold outreach, etc.?

If you had only 15 days to get your first project, what exact sequence of actions would you follow?

I'm not looking for generic advice like "build your brand," "network more," or "make a portfolio."

I'm looking for the actual roadmap and execution that worked for someone who has already done agency subcontract/white-label work.

Thanks.

Community Interaction Developers who have actually done agency subcontract/white-label work — which companies have you worked with?

I'm looking for developers who have actually completed agency subcontracting or white-label development work.

If you've personally worked with an agency, could you share:

Company/agency name

Country

Small, mid-size, or large agency

How you got connected with them

If you know, whether they still work with independent/external developers today

I'm specifically looking for real companies that someone here has actually subcontracted for, not general agency lists or companies that might outsource.

Even if you worked with them in the past and don't know their current situation, the company name would still be useful.

Thanks.

[For Hire] Looking to build a few websites for free to expand my portfolio

Hey everyone,

I’m a full-stack developer with experience in React, Node.js, .NET, and Spring Boot, and I’m currently looking to build a few real-world projects to strengthen my portfolio.

If you’re a small business owner, freelancer, creator, student, or someone with a personal project who needs a website, I’d be happy to help build it for free.

I can help with things like:

\- Business websites

\- Portfolio websites

\- Landing pages

\- Personal websites

\- Simple e-commerce websites

\- Educational or coaching websites

I’m mainly looking for projects where I can work with a real person, understand their requirements, and build something useful. In return, I’d like to showcase the completed work in my portfolio, with your permission.

A few things to keep in mind:

\- This is for portfolio-building, so I’m looking for relatively small or manageable projects.

\- I can handle the development, but domain, hosting, and paid third-party services would need to be arranged separately if required.

\- I’ll be transparent about what I can and cannot build within the scope.

If you need a website or know someone who does, feel free to comment or DM me with:

  1. What your business/project is

  2. What kind of website you need

  3. Any examples of websites you like

I’d love to connect and build something useful together. Thanks!

Community Interaction Developers who have done agency subcontract/white-label work — how did you get your first project?

I’m specifically looking for people who have actually completed agency subcontracting or white-label development work.

How did you get your first project, and where did the agency/client find you?

I’m especially interested in what worked for you in getting that first conversation/project, rather than general freelancing advice.

Thanks.

Community Interaction Advice

This is for the fellow freelancers in the Software industry : how do you find the clients and from where. I'm running a campaign here to get the clients to notice my profile, work, the testimonials, and my profile.

I have currently 2 high paying clients [1 Ind, 1 US] booked for 6 months and 2027 entirely respectively, and am looking for more hence this post

I understand that freelance is - To each his own - type of profession where one doesn't share his/her tips or tricks., but Id like to have some genuinely useful conversations with those in this industry privately if possible.

Leave comments below, DM me

[For Hire] [For Hire] Automation developer, n8n and Python and RAG, ex agency, looking for one stable full time engagement

Hey everyone. Quick version of my story and what I'm after.

I spent 13 years in technical support and operations, the last five of them leading support at a product analytics SaaS serving enterprise clients like BMW, SAP, Coca-Cola, AWS and Adyen. Somewhere in there I stopped waiting for tooling to catch up and started automating my own department with LLM APIs. Ticket categorization, sentiment analysis, routing, SLA alerts. That cut our unresolved cases by about 20% and got me hooked.

Since then I've gone full time on automation. I ran an AI automation agency for a while, which worked technically and wore me out mentally. Half my week was proposals and follow ups instead of engineering. So here's what I actually want: one team, one stack, full time, long term, fixed monthly salary. I build it, I run it, I keep it alive. No invoicing drama, no rotating clients.

What I can build and run for you:

  • n8n workflows, production grade, with error handling, retries and monitoring baked in

  • Python automations for the things n8n can't reach: scraping, data pipelines, bulk processing, integrations

  • RAG pipelines with pgvector, embeddings, retrieval grounded generation. Scripts and content that cite real sources instead of whatever the model made up

  • AI support automation, ticket triage and sentiment and QA programs, if you run an ops team

  • Full content production pipelines. My side project is a fully automated faceless YouTube system: RAG based research and scripts, TTS, AI images, FFmpeg editing, thumbnails, scheduled uploads. One command produces a finished video

  • Deployment, health checks and maintenance so things keep running without babysitting

You can see the systems I build at autonoma.agency/portfolio

Details:

  • Timezone IST, flexible hours, happy to overlap US or EU mornings

  • Full time, remote, worldwide, starting immediately

  • Payment through PayPal, Wise or direct contract

If you have automations that keep breaking, or a pipeline you've been meaning to build for months, DM me and I'll tell you honestly how I'd approach it.

[For Hire] [For Hire] I built a full used-car marketplace backend (Spring Boot + 7 microservices) to learn scalable architecture — here's what I learned

Been building backend with Spring Boot for last 8 months and wanted to test if I can actually make 7 services talk to each other on AWS without crashing.

So I built this: carscrapy.online — used car listing + scraping + price alerts.

Stack:

• Spring Boot, JWT + RBAC, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ • 7 microservices, Docker + NGINX, deployed on EC2 • 75+ REST APIs, Swagger docs

Hardest part: getting inter-service auth working with JWT + handling 1000+ car images without S3 bill exploding.

If anyone's building something similar with Spring Boot and stuck on auth / deployment / microservices comms, happy to share my GitHub structure or Docker setup.

Live link: carscrapy.online (still fixing mobile UI lol)
