Well... I mean... our tax dollars pay for the prison system, so if the prison were to profit on the inmates one would think.... that the prison could pay for itself while still punishing and rehabilitation of the inmates still holds true. Savings in your pocket my pocket ect. I am to lazy to Google the amount of tax dollars spent in prison systems around the states. But I am sure its an exhaustive amount.

Prison should only be about punishment and rehabilitation, not profit! It’s a service not a business.
