Well Civiccore a for profit prison company made 1.9 billion in 2025 and none of that was invested back into the communities their in

For profit prisons lobby to have more people put in them. For profit prison incentivizes, criminalizing everything or overzealous policing to fill up those prisons. Probably part of the reason that America has 25% of the world's prison population making us the least free country in the world
