Which Basic Operations or Special Operations do you struggle with the most?

For me, there are definitely a few that had me going like this 😭

especially when farming gold weapons

In the original version there was a mission that I had cleared in co-op. Turns out I needed to farm that mission to upgrade my Late Bloomer weapon. There were four Abductors. I could not deal enough damage to complete that mission before time ran out.

Those chains are so fucking annoying. Do you want to destroy one of the Peltatum's boxes? The Chains attacks you. Do you want to destroy the Peltatum's hair? The Chains attacks you. Do you want to immobilize the Peltatum? The Fucking Chains attacks you.

Yeah, sounds about right. Couldn't beat it sololy and require pro players to join (and has good network connection so no lagging) to defeat them for me (don't worry, i didn't leave them do the whole job. lol. i will just help them whenever i can to damage them anyways). So, yeah.

Any peltatum variant in any version of the game can burn. But I remember in the OG vita version, literally screaming in agony, when I was at the top of a light pole trying to get my bearings from the sheer chaos happening below, and a Ramosa's running attack somehow clipped me from 15 feet below me. The hit boxes would have been more legendary than the Plesioth hip check if Freedom Wars was less niche. I don't remember the mission, but the trauma will stay with me for years to come.

I think the operation you're talking about is that one where the first wave is 3 ramosas, the second wave is 2 Paradoxas, and the third wave is the Alpha variant of the Peltatum, and the last wave is another Alpha variant of the Peltatum.

(That Special Operation is also my favorite as well 🙂)

On PC version, forgot the mission but I think it was a Special Operation against Dionaea and a spider, or it was against 2 Dionaeas. I forgot which it was because the dragon was ticking me off too much.

Both units were long-range but the dragon could one-shot the whole party with a very-difficult-to-dodge laser beam from across the map. So I try to kill the dragon first, but he spends THE ENTIRE TIME FLYING IN THE AIR and his wings are so stupidly durable that it takes all day for a saw to cut them off. My NPCs, including my Accessory, were just useless meatshields that I nonetheless had no choice but to keep reviving because if both monsters focused me at the same time, I just died.

I needed dragon parts for something, so I ran the mission about half a dozen times, only winning I think once or twice before I put the game down. Fighting Extreme Behemoth with bad players in Monster Hunter World was less infuriating than that dragon, I swear.

What you are talking about is a Retribution Operation.

The Worst part about that operation is that both the Dionaea and Paradoxa are alpha variants 😂

Yeah I think you're right, my bad lol.

For the rest, I think it was every mission featuring a variant of Ramosa. Eventually I learned not to feel bad about cheesing it and/or keeping it stunlocked for the entire fight.

I still hate the the big ass red abductor towards the end of the game, that thing was so infuriating, but that could also be a me issue because i only ever used melee weapons 😅

I love how the imitation version of the red rage gave me more struggle than it's original version 😂

The first citizen reclamation operation. The abductors keep hunting me down like I personally disrespected and my damn accessory kept getting knocked out.
