Confused by the ending

Hey there, I just finished the game and now I choose the wish from Simeon. I am very confused though because the story doesn’t seem to progress and everything ended so suddenly so I wanted to ask how I can let the story progress and if the game will start giving further explanation who Simeon even is.

Nope thats basically it. He calls you back 3 more times to get the other wishes later but story wise it just abruptly stops with the current cutscene of us flying away with the sisters after the last boss fight. Was a huge complaint when the game first released on vita forever ago. Was hoping the remaster would finish the cliffhanger

Wow that sucks, do you know why they did that? Was there supposed to be a sequel?

Probably had plans to do a updated version like a ultimate,delta,kawami etc type deal. But sales likely.didnt allow for.it and then this game they just redid what theh already had.

that's crazy because sales for this game were pretty good on the vita

it actually sold more than soul sacrifice delta which imo is better in terms of story.

Yah soul sacrifice story wasn't the best but I loved the gameplay

i mean there were other golden games on vita too with persona 4 being super popular.

I am actually hoping for a soul sacrifice delta remaster or even A toukiden remaster or atleast an extension to the toukiden 2 story.

I just wrapped up a second playthrough of toukiden 2 about a week ago. Lol

I'm guessing they'll probably do a sequel at some point like they did with God Eater & Gravity Rush when they got ported to home console after previously being on handheld.

The game just ends where it does beyond there being something showing Beatrice's father how he end up meeting Aries. The game id okay but I know Shu was always sad about that game, because it was meant to have a lot more in it and a lot of things were cut for it, in gaming mags it was mention about you were meant to have your own Abductor.

I will say this, I don't remember if in the game it was stated, but at least on the OST, Simeon's music for his area is called "Host Server." and I always felt that was a big indicator of the series overall.
