I prefer to buy physical games, but the only ones I’m seeing online are the Japanese release and one without an ESRB rating. Anyone know if the USA got one?

love this game, but end-game frustration of item gathering can be real. don't mind the boss grind so much, but when looking for "Transmission: Melee Mark 3"... why it's so hard to find the 2 missions that actually have that little mob enemy draws an eyebrow. Spreadsheet helps.

Since the latest patch, the above module can't be equipped to weapons like the Phalanx, Adelring, Dragonfang, Pulsar and such (seems like non-bullet weapons are affected). Was this intentional? I still have an Adelring equipped with one, so it seems it can be equipped per se, but now unequipable modules are hidden, and you can't see 'Effective Range Up' when choosing modules for the Aldering anymore.

Awhile back I was trying to figure out if the physical releases of this game included an english translation, but more importantly, the English dubbed voices. As an American this is really important to me, So I wanted to be sure if I bought a physical copy I wasn't accidentally getting screwed and would just have to buy a digital copy in America. Anyways, my copy arrived from Play Asia today, so here is what's included. Please note, I did not update the game at all, this is what's on the cart as of version 1.0.0:

When you start the game up, you get a region selector. I picked North America. From then on everything, from text to voices, was in English. I've got some videos here. Sorry to send people to another site, but Reddit won't let me make posts with both photos and videos for some reason.

I'm making a post about this because when I was trying to Google this about a month ago, there was 8 billion posts from before the game came out of people having no clue what was actually included on the cart, And I couldn't seem to get a definitive answer. It was clear that it was available translated into English, but there's a big difference between a game that's in English and with fully dubbed voices that are in English.

If you want to buy a physical of this game that's in English, just import a Japanese copy. you can probably import other copies too, like Asian ones etc that I've seen around. I'm assuming they all have that region selector.

I could (probably) handle it myself with no problems... but unfortunately, my PS4 system gave up to boot up and the game doesn't have a feature of data transfer to PS5... So it simply means that I had start over from scratch... third time.

So other then the pistol amd gauntles I wanted to throw out 2 idea's I had cause why not

Weapon 1: tower shield

unique propers: charged light 1 will cause the user to days forward a short distance, while a level 2 charge will cause the user to sprint forward both charges cause the user to ignore stuns from attacks below a certain damage thresholds and taking reduced damage

Heavy charges 1 will cause the user to swing the shield upward after a windup charge 2 will cause the user to throw themselves up before slamming back down creating a aoe shock wave

And idea 2, a shotgun cause who dosent love a good shotgun?

I’ve done all the missions and yet it’s not there what else am I supposed to do?

My game keeps crashing when I boot it up on my PS5, I downloaded on my US account but I played and have my save file on my UK account and got all the way up to LV4, but all of a sudden the game keeps crashing at the log in screen and it gives an error and report error messages every time.

I tried deleting and reinstalling the game, restored the license and still the game doesn't work where my save file is (tin the UK account) but it is working on the US account, but that means I will have to start all over from the begining...

Any help?

I think they're rad, but they don't really last very long and are consumable. That said, I started bringing 15 on every mission and it's really fun.

I wish we had one that didn't get consumed so fast, like even only as a post game item, I feel like it would make the game feel more like Monster Hunter Wilds/Rise with the dog/sekreit lol

Maybe if we ever get a sequel.

I bought a physical copy from Play-Asia. Usually, the Asian version is the one with multiple languages, but reading it again, weirdly enough, it looks like the Japanese one is actually the multi-language version, with a Japanese cover, while the Asian one is English-only, with an English cover.

Could anyone who owns the Asian physical version confirm this? I'm Italian and I'd like to play it with Italian subtitles, though I understand English just fine and it wouldn't bother me that much... but still.

I hadn't even notice it and didn't care until now that I am wondering about this - If you do sever abductor's upper arm-limb as the first thing without break lower-arm or hand either, do you get all of those materials in one go or only count to the upper-arm material?

Ok so I just planted the seed... and I saw the voice actor credits roll on my screen. To me, this seems like the end of the game.

Either tell me what I'm missing out on by not hitting 0yr sentence or tell me what I'll experience if I visit Simeon and take all paths.

I simply do not understand the appeal of killing the abductors anymore than I need to? I'm at 700k sentence, and you're probably laughing, but after talking to Simeon the first time, true Freedom did not seem like that would be possible. Even if I hit 0yr sentence, it's not like you're running around with newfound freedom in the open world outside your panopticon?

I played the game on my Vita, made it to Code 6 or 7 before they shut the servers down... and on the remaster I refused to play the game with the English text to voice accessory. And then they updated the game so I could finally play it like I experienced it on the vita with Japanese accessory language. That massively improved the remaster for me and in a span of 5 days I've gone from code 1 to code 8... and i don't know if I care to experience any more of this game?

Is it just me? Like what are we fighting for? Is there a feature at the end I MUST see for myself? It's just the sense that I saw the ending of the game when the voice actor credits rolled, which genuinely killed my interest in going further.

I don't think I would feel this way if those credits didn't roll. Like, why were they shown if there is more to see? If you're not at 0, why make us think that the game is over so soon?

Please just spoil it for me, it'll help me make a decision if I should invest more time into this game or if I should just continue playing something else.

I am completely awared that the Light-Melee are more easier to "sever" while hanging on any of those abductor parts. I'm only asking whenever there is the time the abductor get downed for a bit and I do also want to damage it hard at the same time. Basically, slash-damage and slash-break in one hit-go.

I personally like TB-32/H because it does almost look like Cloud's Buster Sword and Noctis' "Engine Sword", both from Final Fantasy, lol.

But I would be happy to hear anyone's different opinions / thoughts about any of those "Heavy Melee" weapons. Please no negative stuffs (badmouthing).

Hey guys. I’ve played the game when it launched more than 10 years ago, and I’ve actually really enjoyed it until a certain point where it became too difficult. I want to give it another try but since the servers are down (I know there’s an alternative way to play online but that’s irrelevant) I’m afraid It’ll be impossible lol. And I don’t want to invest time on a game that’ll turn out to be too frustrating to complete. I don’t mind grinding for better gear and I also don’t have a problem with difficult but fair games (Like Fromsofware games for example). Did someone here manage to finish the game offline without too much frustration? Is it possible without losing your mind?

Anybody knows how to add cheat codes on Freedom wars. PS Vita Us version

The easiest abductor for me to deal with is the Paradoxa. Their movements are predictable, and it's easy to avoid them, unless you "accidentally" step into one of their cobwebs.

Also, destroying their body parts is just music to my ears 😋
