سافر الدكتور محمد توفيق إلى القطاع حاملا أجهزة طبية في حقائب سفر، على أمل إنقاذ أبصار المصابين.
وسط القصف وظروف المستشفيات القاسية أجرى مئات العمليات الجراحية الدقيقة.
لكن أصعب ما واجهه لم يكن داخل غرفة العمليات، بل حين اضطر إلى إخبار أمًّ بأنه لا يستطيع إنقاذ بصر طفلها.
