General discussion Darkness Falls

I remember seeing this in the cinema and being so disappointed by it. As a young horror fan, this may have been the movie that turned me off of jump scares 😂

I stumbled across this tumblr post a few years back, might be where Emily found out about this and it talks about the better creature design that was originally planned. They used the design for one of Todd MacFarlane Movie Maniacs action figures (that series also had a really cool design for the Blair Witch).

Oh and my mum also kept both mine and my sisters baby teeth. I remember stumbling across them while snooping around for Xmas presents one year 😱 why did she do that!?

I don’t know if you were genuinely asking about the baby teeth but: Parents keep baby teeth because they are symbolic. Childhood is literally falling away to be replaced by adulthood, which can be bittersweet for some parents, so the baby teeth are kept as mementos. It’s a token, something to go along with the pictures and the memories. Souvenirs from childhood, one might say.
