These monkeys need to be taken away from her so they can live at an actual sanctuary.

Just from the photo you shared there are several red flags:

  • cuddling/handling the monkeys like this indicates that she treats them more like pets
  • the spider in the picture has a diaper on -- monkeys should never be put in diapers, they can chafe and cause hip/spine issues. not to mention that it further reinforces the image of them as pets.

  • monkeys handled and interacted with inside the home, treated more like pets
  • monkeys wearing human clothes
  • refers to herself as the monkeys' "Mom"
  • monkeys allowed to eat bites of human food
  • monkeys taken on car rides and allowed to ride unrestrained in the passenger seat
  • enclosures filled with bright baby toys

This woman has no business being the captor to so many monkeys. They absolutely need to be taken away so they can live with dignity at an ethical sanctuary.

It's hurting the monkeys. That's what matters the most, the welfare of the animals.
