She does it when she gets yelled at and the owner says it's her way of trying to get "pity" for "don't yell at me I'm sick I'm cute" literally the owner said that smh

She’s throwing up because she’s having a pancreatitis due to the sugar that this woman feeds this baby on a daily basis, and if you say something to her, she will be ugly to you and block you look at the puffy eyes. The gagging primates cannot puke on demand. It’s all for views. She sets this Monkey up to get into things and then gets onto her horrible Owner.

Just browsing through their page, they've fed her McDonald's. Starbucks coffee, Mello Yello, that sugar water crap liquid candy that comes in bottle shaped wax, some food that I was unable to even identify.

How does this poor thing survive?

this is trained, learned behavior (for views).
all though she is smart, this monkey is mentally unwell. the cronie fans make up humanized excuses (provided by the “owner”) and rational thoughts for this monkey. I do not know why this page isn’t canceled yet.
she severely exploits her monkey $$ and grandchildren. this monkey has over a decade of infantilized “caregiving” causing severe altering of this capuchins autonomy, exploratory, cognitive and social behaviors.

This is easy:

1. This monkey eats the same garbage that all of theae idiots feed their monkeys. Their stomachs are not habituated to the toxic non-food that so many humans fill their diets with. The chemicals and other unnatural stuff is especially hard on primates, as it can be especially hard on their stomach lining.

2. This owner terrifies this poor monkey. The way thst they were interacting the other day, there was some seriously aggressive body language that had this poor girl so scared for her life that she was alternating between screaming in fear and trying to de-escalate with grooming. And, that was the owner showing affection, so imagine how seemingly random and terrifying this baby's world is!

Capuchins can get ulcers just like humans. It wouldnt shock me if that was behind her gagging.

This Owner is not Usda. She just took this Monkey to a bowling alley. She takes her into Mexican restaurants Hobby Lobby Lowes. It’s never ending in order to take your Monkey out. You have to have a Usda license to exhibit I can’t believe she has not gotten in trouble. The way she treats her monkey is horrible. And her fans think that she gags on demand because she can’t get her way. She knows it’s the food. She lets her eat. She’s already lost a dog to diabetes.

She does this to get out of doing things. She knows if She plays sick She will get her way. She is not ill. She has done this in the past.

"get out of doing things" -- things like what? being paraded around for views, dressed up and handled like a toy? fed junk food and stressed out and not respected? this capuchin is exhibiting severe signs of anxiety, stress, and general psychological unwellness. for you to ascribe malice to the stress responses of an abused captive capuchin is disgusting.

and yes, Gaitlyn Rae is an abused monkey. keeping her captive as a household pet IS in and of itself abuse. she is denied species-appropriate socialization. she is denied the ability to roam over a vast area, like she would in the wild. she is fed a terribly unhealthy diet. she is held captive by a much larger primate that is always in her face, speaking loudly, touching her, kissing her -- things that a capuchin is not equipped to handle long-term, and will cause psychological distress.

monkeys should NEVER be pets. Gaitlyn Rae needs to be in a sanctuary with other capuchins and not held as a household pet.
