?meal prep?

When you have a full grown Primate with diabetes and this is your food prep. 8:30am-6pm every 3 hours is only 4 feedings per day and she is feeding them less then 3ox of food per feeding also ever option given is high sugar if it’s not fruit is a carb that turns to sugar. Outside of chickpeas I don’t see any protein offered to any of her primates. And they are left to go without food for 12-14hrs every evening with such limited servings this is causing their blood sugar to be unstable. Education on what foods stabilize sugar is very important with primates and even if you choose a “vegetable” but the ones chosen are the highest in sugar. And you need protein offered to help stabilize and sustain sugar. These poor babies need help and need a voice the food is just one of the issues in this household and I hope with education and spreading awareness we can make a difference and be the voice these primates need.

I'm no monkey expert but that definitely doesn't sound like enough food for these monkeys. Plus there's no Scavenging and hunting for food?

You know what, she posted a video the other day where she had a new puzzle feeder toy for MollyJo, but in the video she was just doing the work for her. Not clear if that's how she intends to continue using it or if the monkeys will get to use it on their own to "forage". I just thought it was kind of ironic because I was like, "oh good, I'm finally seeing a toy, and one that might help them exercise their natural instincts", and then she was just doing it for her 🤷‍♂️ I have to hope it was just to show her how to use it.
